Lickity

Lickity is a Succubus spellcaster whose preferred work is tailoring rather than combat. She joins the Darklight Host after her original guild collapses, develops her craft into the Dark Enchantress class, and becomes both a senior guild artisan and a protective mother to three unusually powerful children.

Biography

Tailor and dungeon companion

Lickity is introduced as a Succubus Sorceress and crafter whom Cixelcid wants to power-level because advanced crafting abilities are locked behind System levels. Her species changes ordinary clothing into highly revealing Succubus equipment, making dress a persistent practical problem rather than a simple fashion preference. Misha’s gift of the Ice Dragon Robes gives her a usable high-grade outfit, while Lickity contributes local dungeon knowledge and clears the visitors’ hangovers with area healing and poison removal before returning to her tailoring orders. (Chapters 8, 23)

When a warrior faction seizes her original guild and leaves Karmazin in disorder, Lickity and Cixelcid become guildless. She refuses further hunts against maddened Succubi because killing her own species feels wrong, then accepts a place in the Darklight Host where she can run dungeons and craft without fighting for political control. By level 100, her extensive tailoring experience makes Dark Enchantress the natural advancement: it preserves her dark magic while turning cloth, leather, and jewelry enchanting into a formal class specialty. (Chapters 80, 181)

Dark Enchantress and family

Lickity and Cixelcid commit to one another and later become parents to triplets. She chooses a medically trained midwife and a home birth at the Montauk Guild House, balancing confidence in Succubus physiology with caution about complications. The youngest, Nefertiti—soon called Neffie—is born as an unfamiliar Demon rather than a Vampire or Succubus, and Lickity’s alarm at the infant’s instinctive fire and fangs develops into a strongly protective parenting style as Neffie grows at supernatural speed. (Chapters 181, 220–221)

That protectiveness repeatedly collides with Neffie’s appetite for disguises, dungeons, and rapid advancement. Lickity uses System tracking to stop her daughter’s escapes, accompanies the children to the Demon Capital rather than endure a weekend apart, and is furious when King Aggramor takes Neffie into an advanced raid. At the same time, she remains an active guild craftswoman: she orders failed products reworked and surplus successes sold, collaborates on Darklight Host uniforms, and becomes a sought-after tailor for cloth-armor improvements in Port Nefheim. (Chapters 287, 322, 374, 542)

Appearance and personality

Lickity is a Succubus with a visibly expressive tail. The transfer restriction that converts clothing into species-appropriate forms makes many outfits impractical for her, so she favors the least revealing usable options and values garments that let her move through ordinary life without embarrassment. The Ice Dragon Robes appear on her as translucent white silk with strategically placed scales, and an outer cloak gives her additional coverage. (Chapters 8, 23, 181)

She is pragmatic, socially warm, and craft-minded, preferring fashion, dungeon runs, and a comfortable life to guild politics. Her gratitude toward Misha, refusal to hunt other Succubi, and insistence that unused guild products be reclaimed or sold show an empathetic but orderly temperament. With her children she is loving and anxious, imposing limits that often make her the firm counterweight to Cixelcid’s and Aggramor’s willingness to indulge Neffie. (Chapters 23, 80, 287, 322)

Skills and class features

Lickity’s combat and support magic originate in the Sorceress class, while her later advancement turns crafting into a direct System specialization. She continues to accompany stronger fighters when necessary, but the corpus consistently presents tailoring and enchanting as her chosen contribution. Her development therefore depends as much on producing equipment as on dungeon experience. (Chapters 8, 23, 80, 181)

Sorcery and support magic

As a Sorceress, Lickity uses dark-oriented combat magic and can also provide group support. After a night of drinking, she clears the party’s condition with area healing followed by Greater Cure Poison, showing that her spell list includes both recovery and status removal. These abilities make her useful in dungeon groups, though she does not present herself as a dedicated healer and ordinarily lets combat-focused companions carry the front line. (Chapter 23)

Tailoring and enchanting

Tailoring is Lickity’s primary life skill and contributes enough experience to help carry her to level 100. Dark Enchantress grants bonuses to enchanting cloth, leather, and jewelry, adds further tailoring and life-skill experience bonuses, and supplies new combat spells without forcing her away from fashion work. She spends fifty-five of her first hundred advancement points on this combined craft-and-magic foundation, explicitly favoring the production path over maximum combat optimization. (Chapter 181)

Her enchantments can add armor, attributes, spells, or attack benefits, but each item accepts only one enchantment. A ten-percent damage-reflection enchantment illustrates how separate outfit pieces can interact: five valid pieces could nominally total fifty percent before the attacker’s and wearer’s defenses reduce the returned damage. The final class enchantment improves all attributes, while the single-enchantment limit makes item selection and coordination central to her craft rather than allowing every effect to be stacked on one piece. (Chapter 181)

Workshop administration

Lickity’s craft role eventually extends beyond making her own garments. She responds to overcrowded Guild Houses by requiring failed items to be reworked and unwanted successful products to be sold, conserving both space and guild materials. She also helps devise the Darklight Host’s black-and-white uniforms, cloaks, and tabards and remains known in Port Nefheim for upgrading cloth armor, showing a progression from personal tailor to a craftswoman who shapes guild presentation and production policy. (Chapters 322, 374, 542)

Relationships

  • Cixelcid: Lickity’s partner and the father of her triplets. They share a preference for dungeon runs and crafting over guild politics, although his willingness to power-level Neffie sometimes leaves Lickity enforcing the family’s limits alone. (Chapters 80, 181, 220, 287)
  • Neffie: Lickity loves her youngest child fiercely and tries to keep her rapidly growing power from outrunning her judgment. Their recurring conflicts concern disguises, unsupervised travel, advanced raids, and the need to take real battles seriously. (Chapters 220, 287, 467, 542)
  • Misha: Misha solves Lickity’s most immediate clothing problem by giving her the Ice Dragon Robes and helping her test practical outfit combinations. Lickity responds with open gratitude and remains part of Misha’s guild and social circle. (Chapter 23)
  • Cain: Cain helps provide the stable guild in which Lickity can craft and raise her family. She trusts him as Guild Master but also expects him to respect her parental boundaries when Neffie asks to join distant battles. (Chapters 80, 181, 490, 542)
  • King Aggramor: Aggramor treats Neffie as a favored niece and supplies her with opportunities and resources, but his secret power-leveling repeatedly provokes Lickity’s anger because it bypasses her rules. (Chapters 287, 309)

Items

  • Ice Dragon Robes: Misha gives Lickity the bound Legendary garment to solve her shortage of wearable equipment. Its transformed Succubus appearance still needs an outer layer for modesty, but it gives her a valuable, durable base outfit that she accepts with gratitude. (Chapter 23)
