Sren
Sren is the short-haired half of Eton High's red-haired twin leaders. His willingness to use gang violence to secure school and criminal victories culminates in his voluntary use of an untested injection that destroys his identity and life.
Biography
School intimidation becomes a fatal gang experiment
Sren and his twin Leng run Eton High's rugby club as an extension of their school gang, ordering attacks on Westbridge's players before a match and relying on speed, coordinated feints, and intimidation. Their later underground rematch brings Sren against Innu, who defeats him despite the twin's unusually flexible, slippery movement. The brothers then join the Grey Colour gang and take part in the attack on the Wolf's Pool Club and the abduction of Marie, carrying their school rivalry into organized violence. (Chapters 72–76, 118–124, 151–155)
After Kai defeats them at the Grey Colour warehouse, Sren and Leng inject themselves with experimental syringes supplied through Raven and Sin. The small dose causes fever, bulging veins, baldness, blackened eyes, fused lips, green fur patches, elongated claws, and loss of reason. Sren and Leng kill nearby allies and pursue whoever is closest until Gary Dem traps both inside a container and kills them in full werewolf form. Their bodies do not revert, and Gary's System identifies the result as an anomaly that is neither fully beast nor fully Altered. (Chapters 156–161)
Appearance and personality
Sren is tall and slim with short red hair, closely resembling his long-haired twin Leng. Before the injection he is bored, arrogant, and accustomed to others following his orders. His final rampage should not be read as a clear expression of that personality: the transformation leaves both twins unable to recognize allies or make reasoned choices. (Chapters 72, 156–158)
Powers and abilities
As a human, Sren is fast, agile, and exceptionally flexible, using coordinated rugby passes with Leng and a slippery fighting style that makes grappling difficult. These skills do not prevent Innu or Kai from defeating him. (Chapters 74, 119–123, 155)
The injected experimental liquid grants a violent incomplete transformation rather than a stable Altered form. It increases speed and strength and produces long nails capable of cutting metal containers, climbing walls, and repeatedly piercing victims. The cost is catastrophic: Sren loses speech, hair, judgment, and allegiance, attacks indiscriminately, and remains biologically anomalous even after death. The corpus does not identify the creature, establish a reversible activation, or show that he could ever control the form. (Chapters 156–161)
Relationships
- Leng: Sren's near-identical twin and constant partner in rugby, fighting, gang work, injection, and death; Leng has no separate planned article.
- Innu: Innu defeats Sren in their underground rematch and later survives the twins' transformed rampage.
- Kai: Kai defeats both twins before their injections, indirectly prompting their fatal last resort.
Items
No finalized inventory item is configured for Sren. The syringe is consumed during his transformation and is not established as his personal equipment.
