Rowa

Rowa Cha is the leader of the Second Vampire Family and one of the Vampire King's senior envoys. Proud and openly hostile toward werewolves, he nevertheless joins the Howlers against Unzoku and uses his family's localized time reversal to survive werewolf wounds and restore a shattered relic.

Biography

Reporting the changing balance of power

Rowa personally reports to the Vampire King after the Dark Guild's destruction and the Howlers' victory over the Lupus Pack, preferring direct access to filtering information through other families. The report makes the emergence of multiple Alphas a matter of vampire policy rather than a local gang problem. When he later arrives at Howlers Manor with Haylock and Jin, seeing Kai's Alpha eyes makes him suspect a trap. He attacks to assert control, but Gary Dem blocks the strike and the united pack prepares to retaliate. Forced to recognize that three Family Leaders might not escape an indoor war, Rowa apologizes and accepts a joint mission against the Glutton outbreak. (Chapters 1521–1522, 1756–1759)

Centrefield and reluctant cooperation

Rowa enters Centrefield convinced that humans are liabilities and that vampires can police supernatural threats more effectively than werewolves. The devastated city challenges that certainty. He verifies civilian positions despite denying humanitarian intent, fights the Glutton commander Midwak alone, and discovers that even his strongest blood attacks cannot inflict lasting damage. Gary saves him from a potentially fatal counterattack despite their hostility, giving Rowa direct evidence that the Alpha's restraint is genuine rather than weakness. (Chapters 1760–1803)

After the battle, Rowa uses the remainder of his energy to restore the broken medallion that can reverse the Glutton condition. The act preserves the Howlers' only known tool against Unzoku, but leaves Rowa too depleted to repair it repeatedly for every victim. He therefore supports the immediate strategic retreat and agrees with the other Family Leaders that a nationwide infestation exceeds their authority. Appearance and personality

Rowa wears formal black clothing and carries himself as an aristocrat entitled to obedience. His eyes are described as golden during his report and red when his vampire power is active; an intense red mist becomes visible around him when he releases aura. (Chapters 1521, 1756–1763)

He is proud, suspicious, and openly contemptuous of humans and werewolves. Rowa's arrogance makes him escalate the first Howlers meeting and challenge Midwak alone, but he is not incapable of evidence-based restraint. He bows when the tactical position demands it, confirms rather than ignores information, spends his remaining power on the medallion, and reports upward once the crisis exceeds his mandate.

Powers and abilities

Vampire physiology and blood aura

As a Family Leader, Rowa has enhanced strength, speed, senses, durability, regeneration, and a large reserve of blood aura. He shapes that aura into ranged swipes, concentrated barrages, barriers, reinforced fists, and a point-blank Blood Cannon. The cannon's recoil can rupture the user's muscles, veins, and bones when fired at extreme output. Rowa accepts that damage because his family technique can reverse it, but Midwak's durability and energy claws still break through his attacks and force him to expend power faster than he can win. Bottled blood restores depleted energy, while complete exhaustion requires significant recovery time. (Chapters 1757–1807)

Localized time reversal

The Second Family's specialized power lets Rowa slightly reverse time within a limited area. He applies it to his own flesh to erase wounds instead of conventionally healing them, which bypasses the lingering interference werewolf claws normally cause to vampire regeneration. He can restore shattered bones and torn limbs within seconds, reverse the transformed tissue of a captured Glutton, and return a broken medallion to an apparently seamless working state. The power is local rather than a general reversal of events and has a strict energy and repeated-use limit. Rowa cannot undo an entire battle, revive the dead, or repair the medallion indefinitely; repeated catastrophic injuries, his fight with Midwak, and the relic restoration nearly empty his reserve. Relationships

Gary Dem

Rowa initially sees Gary as the leader of a dangerous race that must be controlled. Gary's effortless block and later decision to save him force Rowa to confront strength paired with restraint, while Rowa's medallion repair returns that assistance in practical form.

Haylock and Jin

Haylock and Jin are Rowa's fellow envoys and necessary checks on his temper. They persuade him to de-escalate at the manor and coordinate the operation when individual family pride proves insufficient.

Midwak

Midwak is the opponent who exposes Rowa's limitations. Rowa can repeatedly erase his own injuries but struggles to hurt the Glutton permanently, showing that time reversal can prolong a duel without guaranteeing victory.

Items

Rowa carries small flasks of blood to replenish vampire energy and temporarily handles the Howlers' broken medallion while restoring it. Neither object is assigned to him as a finalized personal item in the supplied inventory.
