God Slayer Armour
The God Slayer Armour is the system-recognized first armour set forged from multiple god-slayer crystals. Quinn Talen creates and wears its boots, chest and shoulder pieces, mask, and gauntlets, combining their individual abilities with set-wide self-repair, celestial resistance, interference, and an unquantified “Limitless” effect. It replaces the Blue Fang Set as his principal armour for the war against Jim and Immortui. (Chapters 2256–2259, 2309, 2386, and 2482–2514)
History
Quinn assembles the set after obtaining crystals from several god slayers with very different powers. Conventional armour sets normally require related crystals or a shared trait, so he does not know whether the completed pieces will qualify as one set. Their common construction and styling are enough for the system to announce the first successful God Slayer Armour Set. Quinn credits Alex's forging knowledge and guidance as essential even though the final work uses materials and methods beyond ordinary beast equipment. (Chapters 2256–2258)
The finished armour comprises boots, a linked chest piece and shoulder guards, a half-face Oni mask, and gauntlets. The boots carry abilities derived from Quinn's earlier god-slayer opponents; the torso uses phoenix and Behemoth crystals; the mask comes from an unidentified crystal supplied by the Dark Magus; and the gauntlets draw on Asura's crystal and the celestial blood guns tied to Alex. The pieces therefore form a set without sharing one creature or element. (Chapters 2257–2258)
Quinn first tests the armour against his altered allies and Jim's forces. Its silent aerial movement, attacking clones, durability, stored blood, and Blood Shock let him disable opponents he wants to preserve rather than rely on lethal force. He later uses the gauntlets and other functions against Ray, demon kings, Divine beings, and Immortui's forces. The set remains part of his combined final-stage fighting style rather than replacing blood, shadow, Qi, demon power, or martial skill. (Chapters 2259–2309, 2365–2386, and 2482–2514)
The armour continues operating after heavy use and across transformations, while its self-repair addresses Quinn's repeated history of losing equipment. The latest corpus does not state that it is destroyed after Immortui's defeat or that Quinn discards it before entering eternal slumber. Its status is therefore active through the final war, with later storage or custody unconfirmed. (Chapters 2437, 2482–2514, and 2545)
Set properties
When all pieces are worn, Self-healing Durability restores damaged armour from the largest surviving fragment, with repair time increasing according to the severity of the damage. Celestial Resistance carries the god slayers' hostility to celestial power into the set and provides substantial resistance to celestial energy. Neither description makes Quinn immune to all damage: restoration can take time, and resistance is distinct from negation. (Chapter 2256)
God Slayer Zone emits an always-active field that interferes with celestial skills, including the kinds of travel, reincarnation, or communication available to celestials. The system explicitly distinguishes those skills from celestial energy itself, so an opponent can still produce or attack with energy inside the zone even when higher-order functions are disrupted. Its exact radius and complete list of affected skills are not specified. (Chapter 2256)
Limitless applies to the full set, while each individual piece is described as having “limitless stats.” The system cannot assign the components numerical values, and Quinn infers that their output lies beyond its ordinary measurement. The corpus does not demonstrate literal omnipotence or prove Quinn's speculation that an otherwise weak wearer would automatically exceed most god slayers. The supported effect is unquantified equipment performance that keeps Quinn at least as mobile as his speed-focused Blue Fang armour and withstands attacks from exceptionally powerful opponents. (Chapters 2256–2257 and 2259)
Component abilities
Boots
Silent Steps prevents the wearer's movement from producing sound at any speed. Flight Steps lets the wearer step and run on air, rising or descending according to their own speed without a stated duration or cooldown. Cloud Clone creates up to three attacking duplicates at half the user's natural power; unlike Quinn's early shadow decoys, they can strike, but their durability is limited and they cannot reproduce many of the armour's active skills. (Chapters 2257, 2259, and 2386)
These functions improve positioning rather than guaranteeing surprise. Specialized perception, area attacks, or direct sight can still reveal Quinn, while the clones' lower power and fragility make them expendable diversions. Their smoke on creation and destruction becomes useful concealment for Quinn's shadow movement, showing that the strongest application comes from combining item and innate techniques. (Chapters 2259–2260)
Chest piece and shoulder guards
The torso pieces use phoenix and Behemoth crystals and must be worn together for their linked skills. Sunfire Burn releases an area of heat with properties similar to sunlight. Indestructible Shell makes the armour indestructible for ten seconds but can be activated only once per month, giving Quinn a narrow emergency defence rather than permanent invulnerability. (Chapter 2257)
A third function, A New Flame, initially remains locked because Quinn has not met its requirements. The first inspection does not explain those requirements, and the corpus should not treat Quinn's guesses about the phoenix material as a confirmed activation rule. The ordinary durability of the torso remains extremely high even when the monthly effect is unavailable. (Chapters 2257 and 2259)
Shifting mask
The half-face Oni mask changes its power requirement according to its wearer. For Quinn, blood becomes both fuel and stored energy. The system calls its blood capacity limitless, allowing him to gather blood during extended battle, draw it back for healing or power, and avoid the time normally needed to collect and condense distant blood. “Limitless” here describes storage in the system text; it does not establish that an infinite amount is ever gathered on page. (Chapter 2258)
Energy Converter can transform the reserve into lightning, fire, or water, while Energy Output lets Quinn release the chosen energy gradually or in one discharge. These options resemble access to several elemental abilities but remain fueled by stored blood and item conversion. The initial inspection provides the mechanics without establishing maximum range, conversion efficiency, or equal mastery of every element. (Chapter 2258)
Gauntlets
The gauntlets are forged from Asura's crystal and the celestial blood guns associated with Alex, fitting Quinn's established close-combat style. Blood Shock sends disruptive power from the fingertips into a target, causing internal damage that forces even strong regenerators to devote their bodies to healing and temporarily lose movement. Quinn uses it to incapacitate Chris and Peter without treating the effect as permanent. (Chapters 2258–2259)
Repeated clashes can also build energy in the gauntlets, increasing the force of later blows. Against Ray, Quinn senses that rise over an extended exchange, although Ray's own adapting power prevents the expected advantage from deciding the contest. The gauntlets also support Quinn's Asura-influenced extra-arm style and blood-aura strikes in the final conflicts. These feats still depend on Quinn's martial skill and other energies rather than proving that the equipment wins every close-range exchange. (Chapters 2289, 2386, and 2498)
Associated characters
- Quinn Talen: Quinn forges, inspects, and remains the only confirmed wearer of the complete set, integrating it with shadow movement, blood control, Qi, and demon-derived power. (Chapters 2256–2259 and 2386–2514)
- Alex: Alex's forging expertise and presence within the celestial blood weapons guide the construction, and material associated with him becomes part of the gauntlets. (Chapters 2256–2258)
The armour is a distinct final-stage set, not a rename of the Blue/Red Fang equipment. Quinn compares their speed, but the God Slayer pieces come from new crystals and receive a separate system announcement and skill catalog. (Chapters 2256–2258)
