Bianca
Bianca Kent is the original leader of the fifth vampire family, awakened in the later era with the other Originals. Because her inherited animal-communication ability offers less direct offence than other family powers, she develops exceptional hand-to-hand combat and fights with a python companion before joining the Punisher's Convent. (Chapters 2063–2071, 2212–2304, and 2358)
Biography
Assessing the new generation
Bianca attends the school assessment with a colour-changing snake around her neck and initially treats the event as dull. Minny's speed and popularity quickly interest her, and Bianca openly competes with the other Originals for the opportunity to teach the child. Her enthusiasm focuses on talent and influence, sometimes before considering which family power a student actually carries. (Chapters 2063–2067)
After learning the context around the candidates, Bianca is among the first Originals to step forward as a prospective mentor and questions selection rules that favour a leader's own guard. The corpus does not identify which student ultimately trains under her, so her teaching legacy cannot be assigned from the selection scene alone. (Chapters 2070–2071)
Fighting the Amra
Bianca accompanies Hikel during the tower war after both consume green blood for greater power. She breaks ordinary Amra limbs with precise palm strikes and uses her python's acid while confronting Geo. Geo's celestial-enhanced body resists the acid and direct blows, then damages Bianca's foot with energy that slows normal vampire healing. (Chapters 2212–2213)
Although injured and outmatched, Bianca keeps attacking beside Hikel and the python. The battle establishes why she trained technique so intensely, while also showing that skill and green-blood enhancement cannot overcome every celestial defender. (Chapter 2213)
Joining the Punisher's Convent
Bianca participates in the Originals' private discussions about supporting Quinn and nervously accepts the risks of breaking from their former restrictions. She remains with Hikel and Edvard as part of the Punisher's Convent, watches the tower battles, and questions whether one enemy vampire deserves the group's fear. (Chapters 2223–2304)
Later history states that Bianca and Grenlet are the only currently present Originals while the others enter Eternal Slumber or disappear from ordinary affairs. Bianca is alive at that latest mention, but the corpus does not show her activities after the Convent campaign. (Chapter 2358)
Appearance and personality
Bianca is a woman who appears comparatively young despite being an Original. She commonly wears a large black, python-thick snake around her neck; its scales can change colour until it seems to vanish. The corpus gives no height, hair colour, eye colour, or clothing description. (Chapters 2063 and 2212)
She is blunt, competitive, excitable around talent, and confident in her physical training. Bianca can be dismissive when bored but becomes engaged by worthy students or enemies. Her nervousness before joining Quinn's cause shows that confidence does not erase awareness of political risk. (Chapters 2063–2071, 2212–2213, and 2254)
Powers and abilities
Animal communication and python partner
The fifth-family ability lets Bianca communicate with beasts and animals. Her python responds in combat, grows to a much larger size, fires acid, and attacks with its tail. These are the creature's actions coordinated through Bianca's ability, not proof that Bianca personally produces acid or can become invisible. (Chapters 2063, 2212–2213)
Geo's skin resists the acid and his strength knocks the python back, establishing direct physical and durability counters. The corpus does not name the snake, explain how Bianca acquired it, define communication range, or show control over an unwilling beast. (Chapter 2213)
Vampire combat and blood aura
Bianca is described as possibly the most skilled vampire in hand-to-hand combat. She stops and shatters a thrown rock, targets joints with palm strikes, breaks Amra arms, and uses Blood Palm attacks against Geo. She developed this discipline because animal communication gives less direct combat power than other original-family abilities. (Chapters 2212–2213)
She has Original-class vampire physiology, blood aura, healing, and the endurance to keep fighting after injury. Green blood temporarily strengthens her, but Geo's celestial energy prevents her damaged foot from healing normally and his durability absorbs her strikes. No Qi stage, soul weapon, or later combat progression is established. (Chapters 2212–2213)
Relationships
- Hikel: Hikel is Bianca's fellow Original and battlefield partner. They fight Geo together and later form part of the Punisher's Convent.
- Minny: Bianca is eager to mentor Minny after seeing her speed, though the corpus does not show a completed teacher-student bond.
- Geo: Geo withstands Bianca's martial arts and python, exposing the limits of her enhanced vampire power.
- Edvard: Edvard joins Bianca and Hikel in the Convent and in their later observation of Quinn's battles.
- Quinn: Bianca ultimately supports Quinn through the Punisher's Convent despite concern about the consequences.
Items
No manifest-configured inventory item is assigned to Bianca. Her python is a living companion, not an item.
