Sky-Patrolling Arrows — My Longevity Simulation

The Sky-Patrolling Arrows are a mass-produced aerial formation weapon system, not merely a collection of bows and arrows. Each silver projectile contains a living core beneath layered formation armor, while larger deployments combine patrol, automated targeting, formation networking, mass launch, and logistical tracking.

History

Alliance aerial supremacy

The Ten Thousand Immortals Alliance unveils the arrows as a strategic answer to the Five Elders Association. A small initial fleet can patrol Alliance territory in a day, automatically lock onto suspicious targets, kill cultivators below Dao Integration almost instantly, and severely wound a surprised Dao Integration cultivator. Wartime production expands from a handful to dozens and eventually far larger formations. (Chapter 834)

Improved arrows corrode through Dao Foundations and Cave-Heavens and multiply into a silver aerial net. More than a thousand gather under an Immortal Ancestor manifestation, while an assault of roughly ten thousand sends attacks comparable to individual Dao Integration strikes toward Five Elders territory. The system's scale depends on collective deployment and wartime sacrifice rather than a single wielder's personal shot. (Chapters 928, 931, and 933–934)

Capture and reverse engineering

Li Fan captures three arrows inside a Five Elements Cave-Heaven, although even a contained specimen continues to rampage. The Final Dissociation Disc reveals roughly one hundred thousand formation structures governing acceleration, position, amplification, armor, and hardness. Beneath the keratin-like shell is a faint living creature whose consciousness hides from contact. (Chapters 949–950)

Li Fan strips and transfers a captured living core to Xiao Qing for research and breeding, placing it in institutional research custody rather than retaining every specimen personally. He later obtains the full design from Dharma-Transmitter Zhao, giving the Holy Dynasty both biological material and formation knowledge for an adapted system. (Chapters 951 and 973)

Holy Dynasty adaptation

Later weapon groups link 168 arrows into a net that can twist heavenly laws and serve as an attacking vanguard. Xiao Qing and Xiao Hong breed an inferior but more self-aware creature called Sky-Splitter; its offspring are weaker and harder to control, so Li Fan compensates through formation design rather than reproducing the Alliance organism perfectly. Sun Erlang deploys the adapted arrows in Great Xuan campaigns, sometimes mixing real projectiles with formation illusions for intimidation. The Holy Dynasty establishes defensive arrays and a dedicated forging site, then adds multi-bow launching, real-time ammunition tracking, concealed traps, and explosive attacks against Dharma Transmitters. Description and function

An arrow appears as a silver projectile or streak of silver light. Its outer weapon body is an intricate stack of formation layers wrapped around a keratin-like living core. At scale, arrows patrol independently, report or lock targets, coordinate into nets, and draw on forging, breeding, launch, defense, and ammunition-control infrastructure. Abilities and limitations

Autonomous patrol and target lock

The original system traverses vast Alliance territory rapidly and automatically selects suspicious targets. Its standard lethality is overwhelming below Dao Integration, but the strongest cultivators can survive or counter individual strikes; its claims of severe Dao Integration injury assume surprise rather than guaranteed execution. Layered formation propulsion and armor

About one hundred thousand formations coordinate acceleration, positioning, amplification, armor, and hardness. This complexity explains both speed and resilience, yet the Final Dissociation Disc can decode the structure, and a captured arrow still requires containment because its own mechanisms continue operating. Living projectile core

The hidden organism supplies a biological component and withdraws its consciousness when probed. Holy Dynasty breeding produces a more aware but less controllable inferior descendant whose offspring are weaker. The organism's agency is limited and obscure, but the text does not support treating it as inert ammunition throughout the system. (Chapters 950–951 and 1130)

Networked arrow formations

Large groups weave silver nets, amplify collective attacks, and can twist heavenly law. Later Holy Dynasty variants combine real arrows, illusions, automated tracking, multi-bow launches, and explosive traps. Formation illusions can increase deterrence but do not create equivalent physical ammunition, while inferior organisms require compensating arrays.
