Final Dissociation Disc

The Final Dissociation Disc is the completed formation-specialist artifact created when the nine Dissociation Discs and the Endstone Plate converge. Its lineage begins as limited Alliance rewards derived from the Tianxuan Mirror, but Li Fan carries the singular final form across a reset and develops it as the computational center of his formation practice (Chapters 697–739, 801–803).

History

The nine-disc competition

The Ten Thousand Immortals Alliance offers nine Dissociation Discs for Qingxuan Points. Each begins as a separate Tianxuan secondary body capable of absorbing formation diagrams, calculating solutions, and competing through iteration. Huangfu Song redeems one and uses it, but after his death Li Fan recovers the dimming Disc among his effects. Li Fan explicitly distinguishes it as Huangfu Song’s Disc before feeding it the formation archive recorded in his Dao Deviation Stone (Chapters 697–739).

Fusion and preservation

The competing Discs evolve by consuming formation data and absorbing one another’s advantages. Li Fan’s branch ultimately combines all nine with the Endstone Plate, whose concealment helps block Tianxuan detection. At the end of that simulation he chooses the resulting Final Dissociation Disc as Truth’s single preserved item, sacrificing retention of his Nascent Soul cultivation to bring the artifact into the next life (Chapters 739–803).

Formation engine of later lives

Li Fan installs the preserved Disc beneath the Dao Deviation Stone in his sea of consciousness and continues accelerating its self-iteration. It rapidly finds formation flaws, designs evolving arrays, supports artifact and world refinement, maintains battlefield seals, and later produces detachable recording fragments. The Disc remains a developing instrument, not a finished source of every formation answer (Chapters 803–808, 810–817, 975–977, 1159–1161, 1388–1391).

Description and function

The preserved artifact appears as a seemingly ordinary jade disc whose surface emits a faint white glow while calculating. Its completed form unites the Dissociation Discs’ formation computation with the Endstone Plate’s shielding characteristic. Li Fan usually keeps the main body in his sea of consciousness, where it works alongside the Dao Deviation Stone and his accumulated formation knowledge (Chapters 739, 801–803).

Its core workflow is data-driven: absorb formation patterns, decompose their structures, model environmental variations, compare possible solutions, then iterate improved diagrams. Unknown formations can enrich the Disc after analysis, while known patterns may be dismantled almost instantly (Chapters 739, 810–817).

Abilities and limitations

Formation analysis and breaking

The Disc stores variations caused by terrain and environment, identifies weak points, and supplies routes through or methods to dismantle arrays. This lets Li Fan pass defenses without triggering them and update damaged formations in real time. Its speed does not mean formations cease to matter; unfamiliar principles must still be analyzed and the output must be executed by a user with sufficient means (Chapters 810–817, 975–977).

Deduction, iteration, and construction

Given diagrams and a design goal, the Disc can combine formation principles into concealment worlds, self-evolving arrays, monitoring structures, and specialized seals. It can also encode formations into artifacts or world-scale targets through Formation Refining. The quality of the result depends on the breadth of supplied data, Li Fan’s design intent, and the energy available to instantiate the model (Chapters 817–830, 975–977, 1159–1161).

Immortal-grade ceiling

Late designs reach Immortal-grade complexity, but the label describes the formation’s principles rather than an effortless guarantee against every Immortal target. World-scale or Immortal-grade arrays demand enormous source power, Star Sea energy, or exceptional cores, and sustained attacks still require real-time reinforcement. The Disc’s computation cannot replace missing fuel or make an underpowered array absolute (Chapters 1159–1161, 1388–1391).

Custody and users

The Alliance initially controls distribution of the nine base Discs. Huangfu Song lawfully redeems and carries one; Li Fan retrieves it after Huangfu’s death, calls it Huangfu’s Disc, and uses it as his entry into the competition. Only after fusion, preservation through Truth, and continued integration does the Final Dissociation Disc become Li Fan’s enduring personal artifact (Chapters 697–739, 801–803).

The formation knowledge fed into the Disc comes from many teachers, sects, environments, and prior lives. Li Fan’s custody of the computational artifact does not constitute ownership of every source formation, world, or system it models (Chapters 739, 975–977).
