Biography

The ambitious reborn youth

Ye Feipeng begins as a worldly Dali youth carrying memories of a previous cultivation life, knowledge deliberately placed within a changed cycle by Li Fan. He loots a dead cultivator, reaches the White Bone Realm through Xiao Heng, and tries to convert every remembered opportunity into an advantage before stronger geniuses claim it. His foreknowledge is useful but incomplete, producing a mixture of clever planning, insecurity, and escalating risk rather than the patient control shown by the person who arranged his rebirth. He warns Xiao Heng about Tianyang Cave, pursues the wind disasters, and claims the Canghai Pearl that had belonged to Zhang Haobo’s path in another history. Ye alternates between friendship and envy toward Xiao Heng, while Li Fan’s skull persona frightens and manipulates him even as he seeks profit from its guidance. By diverting multiple opportunities, Ye becomes the Cong Yun Sea’s alternative chosen agent. That altered fate rewards boldness and deepens his conviction that only constant seizure can prevent mediocrity. (Chapters 215–225)

Green Wind and Kunpeng awakening

Despite possessing the Canghai Pearl, Ye sees Xiao Heng, Su Xiaomei, and Zhang Haobo advancing in ways that make his own progress feel inadequate. He responds by swallowing fragments of Green Wind True Intent, digesting them to Qi Condensation perfection, and using the wind as his Foundation Treasure. The act grants real formal advancement but also establishes his enduring pattern: when a conventional opportunity does not satisfy him, he consumes something more dangerous instead of waiting for a safer route. The Canghai Pearl later joins Green Wind as a second foundation, protects Ye from Zhang Zhiliang’s attack, and supports the awakening of inherited Kunpeng blood. Brown wings, extreme speed, a stronger physique, and devouring potential emerge as he practices the Creation Forge Art and eventually reaches Golden Core. These are overlapping structural changes, not automatic proof of higher formal realms. Near-death makes Ye calmer in immediate tactics, while Bloodline Crossing gradually intensifies pride, predatory ambition, and identification with the sacred beast. Swallowing Crimson Flame

Zhang Zhiliang’s scheme leaves Crimson Flame, multiple Soul Transformation cultivators, and the surrounding formations exhausted. Ye has prepared for this convergence. Believing that consuming the Heavenly Spirit, Zhang, and the formation battlefield will grant the qualification for Dao Integration, he fully unleashes the Kunpeng transformation. The Canghai Pearl supplies the vitality and vast-water basis for a sacred-beast body thousands of miles across, whose devouring ability engulfs the entire prepared conflict at once. The gamble technically succeeds: Ye obtains qualification for Dao Integration. It does not complete or stabilize a Dao Integration realm, and the distinction determines his outcome. His near-perfect Kunpeng manifestation attracts the ancient demon-slayer Zhang Qianmo, whom Ye’s plan did not account for. Bloodline pride and triumph delay immediate escape to Sacred Beast Mountain, and Zhang Qianmo kills him. The cycle ends with structural success but tactical failure, proving that devouring higher power is not the same as securely becoming a higher-realm cultivator. (Chapter 312)

Appearance and personality

Ye Feipeng is initially notably fat, which gives rise to the alias Fatty Ye. The Creation Forge Art repeatedly shrinks and re-inflates his body as hidden potential is tempered, while later blood extraction leaves him slender. Kunpeng awakening produces broad brown wings before culminating in an immense bird-fish sacred-beast body thousands of miles across. These are progressive bodily states rather than interchangeable design elements; the post-awakening human form should not be depicted with both the earliest heavy build and the final full-beast scale. He is clever, insecure, envious, opportunistic, and bold. Ye can warn or cooperate with companions when practical, but measures himself relentlessly against their progress and takes increasingly predatory risks to avoid being ordinary. Near-death teaches tactical calm without curing the underlying hunger for distinction. Kunpeng blood then reinforces pride and appetite, subtly reshaping loyalty and identity. His final failure is characteristic: he correctly sees a unique opening, executes an audacious plan, and then lets the certainty of transformation obscure a threat outside his calculation. Abilities and cultivation

Green Wind True Intent

Ye swallows fragments surrounding the hidden Green Wind Heavenly Spirit and digests them into wind techniques and a Foundation Treasure. Green Wind produces blades, prisons, storms, and rapid movement, later combining naturally with Kunpeng flight. Its initial lethality is weaker than Heavenly Calamity Sword Intent, and approaching the complete Heavenly Spirit is dangerous even for an ambitious cultivator. The wind remains part of Ye’s dual foundation and movement system through his Golden Core period rather than disappearing when the beast bloodline awakens. (Chapters 239–242; Chapters 273–281)

Dual foundation and Canghai vitality

The Canghai Pearl merges into Ye’s dantian beside the Green Wind foundation, producing an exceptional dual structure. It protects and heals him, provides an immense water-associated reserve, and later supports both the Creation Forge’s bodily strain and the gigantic scale of his Kunpeng manifestation. The second foundation is a structural advantage rather than a named formal realm of its own. It also binds much of his survival to the Pearl’s assistance; without that vitality, several of his harsh strengthening and near-death transformations would have destroyed his body. Kunpeng bloodline and transformation

Ye inherits Kunpeng essence through his family line and awakens it with support from the Canghai Pearl. The blood grants brown wings, immense physique, extreme speed, devouring capacity, and compatibility with recovery. At full release, he assumes a near-perfect bird-fish sacred-beast form thousands of miles across and swallows the Crimson Flame battlefield. Bloodline Crossing also affects mind and allegiance, encouraging predatory pride. The manifestation attracts Zhang Qianmo, and Ye’s overconfidence delays escape; the latest detailed outcome is death immediately after achieving qualification, not stable Dao Integration. Creation Forge Art

Under Li Fan’s arranged development, Ye practices the Creation Forge Art to temper his body and repeatedly draw out hidden potential. The process visibly contracts and expands his physique while building a vessel able to carry Kunpeng power. Its intensity would break an ordinary human body. Ye survives because beast-blood potential and Canghai vitality repair him through a harsher simultaneous strengthening cycle. By the Crimson Flame battle, the accumulated result contributes to the body required for full transformation, but the Art itself is not credited with a separate formal cultivation breakthrough. Relationships

• Xiao Heng is Ye Feipeng’s friend, route into the White Bone Realm, and recurring object of envy. Ye warns him when cooperation is useful but continually measures his own progress against Xiao Heng’s.
• Li Fan engineers Ye’s rebirth knowledge and later development while hiding behind a frightening skull persona. Ye seeks benefits from that guidance without understanding its full purpose.
• Zhang Haobo is the person whose Cong Yun opportunities Ye diverts in the altered cycle, making Ye an alternative chosen agent of the sea.
• Zhang Zhiliang attacks and later attempts to control him as a known variable. Ye ultimately turns the formation master’s exhausted battlefield into the object of his own devouring plan.
• Crimson Flame is both a Heavenly Spirit threat and the central power Ye consumes in pursuit of Dao Integration qualification.
• Zhang Qianmo is the ancient demon-slayer omitted from Ye’s calculation and the immediate cause of his death after full Kunpeng manifestation.

Items

• The Canghai Pearl chooses, protects, and ultimately merges into Ye Feipeng as a second Foundation Treasure in the detailed Kunpeng cycle. It is no longer an ordinary loose possession after integration.
• A Beast Soul Bead is used in a later Medicine King cultivation arrangement involving a recreated Ye Feipeng. That custody belongs to a separate timeline and should not be inserted into the Crimson Flame cycle’s inventory.
