Wang Wenlong

Wang Wenlong is one of the friends who accompanies Wang Hailong into Mu Yang High School. He joins the men in projecting confidence before the attraction's independent hauntings dismantle the group's performance of toughness.

Wang Wenlong enters the scenario alongside Wang Hailong, Xia Meili, and Dou Menglu, treating the challenge as a group test of courage. He tries to maintain the men's brash front, but separation, the Pen Spirit area, moving props, and unexplained sounds steadily replace mockery with fear. His inability to control the visit contributes to the group's collapse, yet he remains with his companions through the aftermath rather than abandoning them when Hailong's attention shifts to the much more serious problem affecting Shenglong. Wang Wenlong is a brash young visitor whose confidence depends heavily on the presence and approval of his friends. He becomes frightened as the scenario isolates its visitors, showing that his earlier toughness is social performance rather than exceptional resistance to fear. (Chapters 132–142)
