Biography

A frightening visit and a family appeal

Wang Hailong enters Mu Yang High School with his girlfriend and friends, hoping to demonstrate courage in front of them. The scenario quickly exposes how little his height and strength protect him from supernatural fear, but the experience also convinces him that Chen Ge can confront problems ordinary people cannot. Hailong therefore shares the drawings and behavior of Wang Shenglong, persistently seeking help for the younger brother whom his family has struggled to understand. His appeal brings Chen and Doctor Gao to the Wang home, where the thin monster attached to Shenglong is finally forced away. (Chapters 132–146, 211–213)

Appearance and personality

Wang Hailong is about Chen Ge's age, approximately 1.85 meters tall, and physically imposing. He performs confidence most strongly around his girlfriend, yet scares easily once isolated. Family loyalty is more durable than that bravado: embarrassment does not stop him from explaining Shenglong's condition or accepting unconventional help. (Chapters 132–146, 211–213)

Skills and supernatural abilities

Wang Hailong has no supernatural ability. His useful qualities are persistence, physical presence, and close observation of his brother's changing behavior, which lets him provide Chen Ge with information that doctors had not successfully interpreted. (Chapters 141–146, 211–213)
