Mr. Zhou

Mr. Zhou is the real-estate-agent persona used by Ol' Zhou while infiltrating a visitor group in the Coffin Village scenario.

Biography

Narrative role

Mr. Zhou enters Sister Mao's review group as an apparently ordinary real-estate agent traveling with his supposed girlfriend, Duan Yue. His friendly visitor role encourages the genuine customers to trust him while people disappear around them. He and Duan quietly redirect the frightened group deeper into Coffin Village, turning social familiarity into part of the scenario's trap. (Chapters 347–353)

The disguise ends when blood and floral patterns spread across Mr. Zhou's black shirt and he tells the visitors that dead people would naturally lead them to other dead people. Duan Yue's body then splits apart, confirming that both are ghost employees. Later appearances under the name Ol' Zhou refer to this same performer, not to a separate human real-estate agent. Appearance and personality

In this persona, Ol' Zhou appears as a personable man in a black shirt and presents himself as Duan Yue's protective boyfriend. His convincing friendliness gives way to morbid humor and theatrical menace once the reveal begins. (Chapters 347–355)

Skills and supernatural abilities

Mr. Zhou can pass as a living visitor, maintain an improvised cover story, manifest blood and wounds, and coordinate his reveal with Duan Yue. These are Ol' Zhou's ghost-acting abilities rather than powers belonging to a separate character. (Chapters 347–355)

Relationships

Duan Yue is Ol' Zhou's partner both in the false-couple act and in later House work. Sister Mao and Ma Tian are among the reviewers deceived by the performance, while Chen Ge employs and deploys the pair. (Chapters 347–355, 466)
