Ma Feng is a Futuristic Theme Park manager who organizes an industry challenge against Chen Ge's House of Horrors.

Biography

Narrative role

After Jiang Jiu is hospitalized, Ma Feng assumes responsibility for the Futuristic Theme Park's response to its rival. Known for acting swiftly and aiming at a rival's weakest point, he gathers experienced haunted-house operators, including Shang Guan Qing Hong and Qin Guang, and leads them into Chen Ge's newest scenario to restore their professional standing and the park's reputation. (Chapters 1114–1117)

Ma Feng treats the visit as both competitive assessment and a test of nerve, pressing onward even as the scenario dismantles the group's confidence. His determination cannot protect him from the attraction's supernatural dangers, and the later account of the challenge places him in the hospital. His failure further demonstrates the gulf between conventional haunted-house expertise and Chen Ge's employees. (Chapters 1118–1134, 1137)

Appearance and personality

Ma Feng is brisk, calculating, and strongly motivated by practical benefit. He projects professional confidence and dislikes retreating once he has committed to a plan, but his aggressive decisiveness also leads him to underestimate dangers outside ordinary attraction design.
