Jia Ming

Jia Ming is Huang Ling's husband, but many of the crimes committed through his body belong to Jiang Long or another shadow-linked possessing presence rather than to the original man.

Biography

A husband displaced by possession

Huang Ling notices that the man at home moves, speaks, and reacts unlike her husband, sometimes with the stiffness of a puppet and without a normal shadow. The presence in Jia Ming's body threatens her, lies during the investigation, and uses knowledge connected to old Li Wan crimes. Once exposed, the possessed man draws police and Chen Ge toward the tunnel and later escapes Li Wan City with Bei Ye. (Chapters 488–515, 595–622, 653–680)

The fugitive continues acting as part of the Ghost Fetus's shadow network, sacrificing associates as bait while seeking another target. When Chen Ge finally finds him, the original Jia Ming's soul and spirit have already been consumed by Jiang Long, leaving only the body. Police arrest that shell, and Jiang Long briefly returns to it in panic before Chen Ge suppresses the spirit again. This later revelation separates the victimized husband from the will controlling his actions. (Chapters 991–1000, 1020–1028)

Appearance and personality

Jia Ming is a living adult man whose possessed body moves stiffly and can appear cold, puppet-like, or shadowless. The evasive behavior, sudden changes of demeanor, and manipulative speech belong to the controlling presence; the text leaves comparatively little direct access to the original husband's personality before displacement. Skills and supernatural abilities

The original Jia Ming has no established supernatural power. His body displays concealment, an abnormal shadow, and curse-related signs while possessed, but those effects belong to Jiang Long or the shadow-linked entity using him. Yin Yang Vision, the white cat's reactions, and close police observation can expose the anomalies, even when the possessor imitates ordinary behavior. (Chapters 496–500, 595–622, 1027–1028)

• Huang Ling: Jia Ming's wife and the person most able to recognize that another will is acting through his body. (Chapters 488–515, 590–595)
• Jiang Long: Consumes Jia Ming's soul and uses his body as a host, making Jiang Long responsible for the later fugitive's agency. (Chapters 991–1000, 1020–1028)
