Longrich

Longrich is an elite Cryomancer, the holder of the Class A Death Swamp Inheritance, and Scholar Musou's principal partner in Eternal Flame. Although he appears to serve Zhong Xiu Hua, he ultimately reveals himself as a highly paid mole for Zhang Yang, destroys his patron's remaining confidence, and leaves to form a new guild. The similarly named Longrich Doc in Chapter 437 is an unrelated dungeon boss and is not evidence about this player, whose first appearance is on the Chapter 690 leaderboard. Biography

Demonic Invasions and the Final Championship

Longrich first appears at Level 145, ranked fifteenth worldwide for Eternal Flame; unlike Scholar Musou, his name is entirely unfamiliar to Zhang Yang's previous-life memory. In the Mythical Dragon Realm he is identified as a Level 149 Cryomancer and one of the guild's two generals. He recognizes Zhang Yang's strength, admits he cannot win a fair duel, and tries to negotiate safe possession of the map while bluffing that four players can defeat him. When talks fail, Longrich reacts quickly with Apparate and Ice Barrier, orders the group to transform, and deploys Death Swamp. His ultimate combines with Scholar Musou's Fire Demon Lord to push Zhang Yang below twenty percent, but anti-healing and cooldown pressure leave Longrich exposed, and he calls the retreat once Zhang Yang restores himself to full. (Chapters 690 and 703–707)

Longrich and Scholar Musou subsequently become the competitive engine of Eternal Flame, dominating the Class A Professional League and raising the guild into Class S. He participates in Zhong Xiu Hua's planning, reacts avidly to the potential income from Territories, and benefits from Eternal Flame's covert effort to have rival leaderboard players assassinated so its two aces can reach Level 200 sooner. He remains a core world-boss fighter and, with Scholar Musou, is one of only two Eternal Flame players to survive a demonic mass battle that reduces the field to nineteen. His real allegiance emerges through events outside ordinary competition. During Eternal Flame's trip to Brazil, local criminals seize Zhong Xiu Hua's group and release Longrich to arrange the ransom. Chapter 851 reveals that Longrich had led them into the alley as part of Zhang Yang's operation. He also leaked the financial crisis at Hua Yi Trust Fund, worsening Eternal Flame's unpaid-salary collapse, and accepted 400 million from Zhang Yang for his services. Before confessing, he relocates to Brazil for safety; afterward he takes multiple players with him, announces a new guild, and warns Zhang Yang that the humiliated Zhong may respond violently. Scholar Musou and the remaining core players follow Longrich out of Eternal Flame once they see Zhong's position has become untenable. The cascade reduces the guild to roughly a thousand low-level members and effectively ends it as a top organization. Longrich finishes the supplied corpus not as a defeated subordinate but as an independent operator whose combat value, information access, and willingness to change sides have all paid off. Appearance and personality

Longrich's normal avatar has no physical description. Death Swamp Transformation changes him into a humanoid mass of dark, viscous liquid that spreads into a swamp around him. In the real world he is described only as a young adult man standing with Scholar Musou before Zhong Xiu Hua; no facial, clothing, or body details distinguish him further. (Chapters 704 and 838)

He is observant, composed, pragmatic, and mercenary. He stays calm enough to negotiate with a stronger opponent, reacts almost instantly with mobility and immunity skills, and orders retreat when continued battle no longer makes sense. His later behavior is colder: he accepts payment to undermine his employer, prepares a foreign refuge before revealing himself, mocks Zhong's inability to retaliate, and recruits departing players into his own guild. His warning to Zhang Yang nevertheless shows foresight about the real-world danger created by that humiliation. (Chapters 704–706, 783, 838, and 851)

Abilities and gameplay

Cryomancer mobility and defense

Longrich is explicitly profiled as a Cryomancer. Apparate functions as a rapid blink that lets him evade Zhang Yang's first heavy follow-up, while Ice Barrier makes him immune to the simultaneous fire attacks of Felice and the Phoenix Pet. He can deactivate the barrier deliberately to use a bandage and transform, but both Apparate and Ice Barrier later remain on cooldown when Zhang Yang attacks again. Their strength is therefore tied to timing rather than continuous protection. (Chapters 703–706)

The corpus contains an unusual but explicit interaction: while Longrich is labeled a Cryomancer and can fire Frost Arrow, his attacks against the transformed Phoenix are described as Fire-based and consequently heal it rather than injure it. This makes target and damage-type knowledge a direct limit in that encounter and should not be silently corrected into Ice damage merely because of his class name. (Chapters 704 and 706)

Death Swamp Transformation

The Class A Death Swamp Transformation turns Longrich into a dark liquid humanoid and spreads the same substance forty meters around him. Targets moving through it are slowed by fifty percent for as long as they remain subject to the persistent aura. The transformation also grants a four-hundred-percent damage increase: his demonstrated Frost Arrow deals nearly 160,000 damage after activation. Like the other Class A inheritances in the fight, it provides a thirty-percent magic-nullification chance and limited flight or gliding. (Chapters 704–706)

The swamp slow can be countered. Zhang Yang drinks a Mobility Potion, whose effect also reaches his mounted Phoenix, and immediately restores their movement speed. Transformation also preserves the user's current health percentage instead of filling the enlarged health pool; this is why Longrich tries to bandage first and is forced to transform below full health when Zhang Yang interrupts him. Ultimate and recovery limits

Longrich's inheritance ultimate creates a black whirlpool inside the swamp. A target that steps into its range suffers 100,000 Shadow damage; the effect has a short base duration that can be prolonged by spending Evolution Points, although the exact initial cost and duration are not stated. Used beside the Fire Demon Lord, it helps force Zhang Yang below twenty percent health and enables execute-style follow-up attacks. (Chapter 706)

Longrich also has an inheritance recovery skill, but Zhang Yang's Destructive Smash reduces its efficiency to twenty-five percent. In the demonstrated use it lifts him only from five to thirty percent health, after which Zhang Yang's full recovery erases the pair's offensive advantage. His transformation's preserved health ratio, counterable slow, elemental mismatch against the Phoenix, and long defensive cooldowns together explain why a strong Class A kit still ends in retreat. • Scholar Musou: Longrich fights and competes beside Scholar Musou as Eternal Flame's other ace. They coordinate ultimates, retreat together, carry the guild into Class S, and survive the demonic invasion; Longrich's final confession shocks Scholar and prompts him to leave as well. • Zhang Yang: Publicly, Longrich is Zhang Yang's rival and repeatedly fights or plans against his guild. Privately, he accepts 400 million to serve as Zhang Yang's mole, leaks Eternal Flame's financial vulnerability, helps arrange the Brazil operation, and reports back after dismantling the guild. (Chapters 704–706, 720, 783, 802, and 851)
• Zhong Xiu Hua: Zhong treats Longrich as a trusted elite subordinate and finances his rise, but Longrich regards that bond as a paid game arrangement. He betrays Zhong, relocates beyond his domestic reach, publicly humiliates him, and takes guild members away. (Chapters 785, 802, 838, and 851)
