Biography

Inheritances and Territorial War

Greensleeves Prince enters the Soaring Swords tournament as Sunset Amber's captain and draws the team into the C4 slot. Sunset Amber defeats Snow Seeker and Crimson Rage 2–1 in a close quarterfinal; Snow Seeker suspects that the team deliberately held back to disguise its strength, a strategy that would have required Greensleeves Prince to risk elimination. In the semifinal against Imperial Sky, however, Sunset Amber loses 1–2 after its Thief Lonely Tree inexplicably misses a normally certain Blind. Greensleeves Prince and One Sword Stroke then visit Zhang Yang in person, compare suspicious errors by their respective teammates, and warn him that Imperial Sky may be fixing matches. Lonely Tree and Venshi soon defect to Imperial Sky, prompting Sunset Amber and Radiance to file complaints and substantially validating their suspicions. (Chapters 275 and 278–289)

After the tournament, Greensleeves Prince becomes a recurring peer and ally of Zhang Yang. He congratulates Lone Desert Smoke's major achievements, joins friendly competitions among guildmasters, and leads Sunset Amber troops toward Zhang Yang when an Ascended boss overwhelms the wider army. When Japan-Korea threatens Winst Castle, he immediately lends members for the national defense; during the Ancient Creature invasion, he joins a multi-guild command group, secures positions for Sunset Amber inside Morning Town, and accepts Zhang Yang's battlefield leadership. He later follows Lone Desert Smoke's emergency sortie to Baroque, helps deter European attackers, and joins planning meetings intended to prevent China's strongest guilds from wasting time fighting one another during regional content. That alliance remains practical rather than self-denying. Greensleeves Prince mobilizes herbalists when potion ingredients become scarce, seeks Zhang Yang's supplies, and is among the guildmasters who compete instantly for valuable boss drops. Political pressure later forces him and many other guild leaders to urge Zhang Yang to end the war against Eternal Flame; the episode is presented as coercion from a powerful outside figure, not a voluntary change of allegiance. By Chapter 826, Sunset Amber is explicitly still an ally of Lone Desert Smoke: Zhang Yang explains the value of Lesser Demonic Pearls to Greensleeves Prince, who responds with laughter and promises to compete openly for the next set. Appearance and personality
