King Aksuma
King Aksuma is the king of Tekezash, husband of Queen Ishtar, and father of Khalik Behr-Medr. Bookish in build but deeply interested in magical beasts, he visits Generasi to reunite with his son, study Khalik's new life, and decide whether to welcome Sinope into the royal family. (Chapters 70, 574–605)
Biography
Royal visit and Khalik's future
Aksuma arrives in Generasi with Ishtar and immediately takes delighted interest in Brutus and Najyah, consistent with the several familiars he keeps in Tekezash. Behind that enthusiasm he watches carefully: he analyzes the Games, recognizes how excessive caution can become a weakness, and studies Sinope before joining Ishtar in blessing her bond with Khalik. Court obligations eventually require the royal couple to leave, but they depart after accepting their son's chosen relationship and extending hospitality to his companions. (Chapters 574, 584, 605–612)
Appearance and personality
Aksuma is tall and thin with a bookish build, wearing precise but comparatively plain clothing and platinum bracers. He is affectionate toward Khalik and openly excitable around magical beasts, sometimes spoiling Najyah and Brutus. He also has a quieter analytical side, observing competition and family dynamics before stating his judgment. (Chapters 574, 584, 605)
Magic, abilities, and skills
Aksuma has extensive practical interest in familiars and keeps at least three in Tekezash, giving him confidence when interacting with magical beasts. He also demonstrates strategic analysis while watching the Games, identifying how caution can be exploited. The supplied chapters do not show him casting a spell, entering combat, or directing his own familiars, so neither the mechanics nor the upper limit of any royal magic is established. (Chapters 574, 584)
