Supreme Vast Ancient
Supreme Vast Ancient is a native Supreme who rules one of the great territorial divisions of the Broken Tooth Mountain Range. He recruits Xue Ying for a Snake Tooth Corridor expedition, using a spare protective artifact and Xue Ying's soul resistance to retrieve treasures he cannot reach himself. (Chapters 1221–1231 and 1261–1270)
Biography
Territory, recruitment, and the corridor bargain
Starlight World lies within Vast Ancient's territory, but he permits powerful subordinates considerable freedom, including Great Emperor North River's coercive ambitions. After recognizing that Xue Ying's soul technique can affect even him, Vast Ancient invites the cultivator to the Snake Tooth Corridor. He provides a Snake-Tooth Bead and requires obedience until Xue Ying retrieves three treasures from light-ball dimensions whose soul suppression excludes the Supreme. (Chapters 1221–1231 and 1261–1265)
Xue Ying obtains a fiery feather and two further objects, and Vast Ancient honors the agreement by releasing him from orders. The Supreme also offers to help eliminate Great Emperor North River, partly from old displeasure and partly to gain Xue Ying's future goodwill. After explaining the corridor's paths, consciousness regions, and a remote training route attributed to Yuan, he continues exploring with substantial bead energy and remains alive in the latest evidence. (Chapters 1265–1270)
Appearance and personality
Supreme Vast Ancient naturally radiates heat and eye-piercing light like a huge fireball; weaker observers cannot look at him. He conceals that aura when receiving Xue Ying as a gesture of hospitality. He is simple and cold in manner, transactional but oath-respecting, and willing to spend resources when strategic favor is worthwhile. (Chapters 1231 and 1261–1269)
Abilities and cultivation
He is a grand-perfection Emperor and awakened clan ancestor with immense aura, speed, and a body that can hold a burning mysterious feather without injury. His strength surpasses Great Emperor North River sufficiently that, with Xue Ying, he expects capture or elimination to be straightforward. (Chapters 1231 and 1265–1268)
His limitations are specialized. Xue Ying's soul technique can affect him, and light-ball soul suppression blocks him from opportunities a more resistant cultivator can enter. He does not specialize in the Dao of Void and admits he may overlook void opportunities. The source preserves no named direct attack or later breakthrough. (Chapters 1231 and 1263–1270)

Items
No assigned item link is required. Vast Ancient owns two Snake-Tooth Beads at one point, lends one to Xue Ying for the expedition, and later stores the retrieved feather and other treasures; the briefs do not assign those artifacts as required links for this article. (Chapters 1261–1269)
