Starlight Master
Starlight Master is the ruler of Starlight World and leader of its clan. He first aids Xue Ying against the Undying Underworld Emperor, then receives Xue Ying's help when Great Emperor North River threatens to enslave his people. (Chapters 1195–1231)
Biography
Aid repaid at Starlight World
Starlight Master travels to Flying Snow City and stands beside Dong Bo Xue Ying against the Undying Underworld Emperor, despite not previously knowing Xue Ying. Outside his own world he feels a full level weaker and is threatened by the emperor's golden palm, but his intervention still creates a debt. When Starlight World later faces invasion, Xue Ying arrives, revitalizes the despairing master, and asks that captured soldiers not be harmed. Starlight accepts the restraint and orders imprisonment rather than slaughter. (Chapters 1195–1226)
Xue Ying's soul technique lets Starlight and his elders capture a god general who would otherwise match their leader under hometown World Energy. Starlight then contacts other World Masters, treats Xue Ying as a benefactor, and offers intelligence in gratitude. He remains vigilant when North River changes from invasion to invitation and accompanies Xue Ying away by incarnation. (Chapters 1226–1231)
Appearance and personality
Starlight Master is a man dressed in a starlight gown. He is courageous enough to intervene for a stranger, deeply responsible for his clan, merciful when given the opportunity, and quick to express gratitude when Xue Ying saves his people. (Chapters 1195–1228)
Abilities and cultivation
As a World Master, he draws on his hometown's World Energy and can contend with a powerful god general there. Away from Starlight World his strength falls by an entire level, an explicit territorial limitation. With enemy strength reduced by Xue Ying's illusory realm, Starlight and several elders can capture that general alive. (Chapters 1196 and 1226)
