Yuan

Yuan is the oldest known Cultivator Overlord, the creator of the Realm Heart Great Land, and the architect of several opportunities that carry Dong Bo Xue Ying from one Origin World toward Chaotic Origin. Rather than provide a complete path, Yuan builds worlds, trials, treasures, and passages that test whether weaker cultivators can advance by their own comprehension. Xue Ying's emergence as an Overlord vindicates that long project and changes their relationship from distant benefactor and candidate to fellow guardians of cultivator territory. Most of Chapters 239–1099 in the supplied EPUB are fragmentary, so the Realm Heart Order's early history is described from its surviving local passages and later explicit confirmation rather than reconstructed transitions.

Biography

The Realm Heart passage and a designed world

Before Xue Ying understands Yuan's identity, he acquires the Realm Heart Order in the Primal Chaos Void. The talisman's energy lodges in his soul and lets a strand of true spirit sense an Origin World beyond his own; the surviving opening of Chapter 1000 preserves Yuan's guidance that the Realm Heart Great Land has a deeper foundation and that cultivating under a different supreme law can temper the traveler. The damaged chapters do not preserve a continuous account of why Yuan placed this particular Order where Xue Ying would find it, but Chapter 1388 confirms that Yuan refined the Order and counts it among the concrete aids he gave Xue Ying. The destination is not merely a naturally occurring realm in which Yuan left an artifact. Yuan created the Realm Heart Great Land itself, and its institutions bear his method of cultivation design: Yuan God Palaces measure strength, while the Origin Realm God Palace offers rare entry opportunities over which the three clans compete. Xue Ying arrives expecting a richer foundation, then gradually realizes that the world, its advancement tests, and his means of reincarnating into it all connect to the same remote expert. Yuan remains offstage, so no immediate personal instruction resolves Xue Ying's problems; the intended consequence is exposure to a new supreme law and a larger cultivation environment. Later evidence supplies the motive not stated in those early fragments. Yuan explains that other high existences considered the Realm Heart Great Land a waste of effort, while he believed sufficient time and patience could produce a true expert. He watches only a few promising targets across many Origin Worlds, making Xue Ying's passage one part of a broader attempt to nurture cultivators capable of leaving their world's cage rather than an isolated act of rescue. Trials, rewards, and the point where help ends

Yuan fills the Realm Heart God Palace with cultivation scriptures, supreme-grade treasures, and unique objects, but surrounds them with danger rather than distributing them freely. A Realm Heart Order holder who survives two dangerous regions receives access to the Chaotic Origin Pagoda, where progress is time-limited and later levels become increasingly difficult. Xue Ying understands the arrangement as a selection test: reaching the ninth level guarantees a supreme-grade treasure, while pushing to his limit earns him a supreme secret impartation, a matching weapon-refinement method, and an additional droplet of core blood. Yuan thereby rewards demonstrated comprehension, but makes the candidate bear the danger and uncertainty needed to reach that reward. (Chapters 1114–1134)

When Xue Ying fuses four branches of the Mirage and Illusory Realm, Yuan notices from the higher dimension and discusses him with Luo City Lord. He has already supplied a specially simplified Chaotic Origin Weapon method and core blood from the Myriad Tentacles Dragon Mother, yet refuses to treat those gifts as a substitute for the final step. Yuan admits that neither he nor the other Chaotic Origin experts specializes in the Dao of Soul deeply enough to provide a final-realm scripture; after the core blood brings Xue Ying's soul to the limit Yuan can safely support, the remaining breakthrough must be made alone. This boundary explains the structure of his mentorship: he can create conditions and remove some material barriers, but will not claim knowledge he does not possess or manufacture the decisive comprehension. Yuan's cultivation policy is moderate at the scale of an Origin World but distant from Xue Ying's concern for individual victims. The local account says he accepts ordinary struggle and the strong eliminating the weak as long as killing does not disrupt the Realm Heart Great Land's overall order; mass slaughter beyond that limit risks his intervention. He once favored the Undying Underworld Emperor enough to grant him a movement technique and an expedition intended to advance him toward Chaotic Origin, but later characters invoke Yuan's punishment when the emperor's soul-devouring affects many nations. The supplied narrative does not show Yuan personally answering that threat, so his exact judgment of the emperor's later conduct remains unknown. (Chapters 1170, 1191, 1202, and 1257–1258)

Broken Tooth as a cultivation ground

The Broken Teeth Mountain Range extends the same policy through a harsher environment. Surviving accounts state that Yuan used the corpses of two terrifying Chaotic Origin lifeforms to create an entirely new world for nurturing juniors. He leaves restrictions that keep the strongest Natives from departing and rules that prevent a cultivator from repeatedly emptying the same Light Ball Dimension. These boundaries turn the remains of enemies strong enough to injure him into limited opportunities instead of allowing one successful entrant to monopolize them. (Chapters 1203 and 1247–1267)

The range is not presented as a safe, perfectly calibrated examination. Xue Ying questions why Yuan would engineer ambient hazards governed as much by luck and experience as by cultivation, while the corpse-scale and hostile clans make even unparalleled existences vulnerable. Yuan's action is source-grounded—he creates the range and its restrictions—but the exact design rationale is not directly stated in these chapters. A later report that Yuan is the oldest Overlord and does his utmost to nurture weak cultivators supports a broad training purpose, not the inference that every danger was individually planned for a particular lesson. Realm Heart Great Land itself demonstrates a different side of Yuan's world engineering. Unlike ordinary Origin Worlds that approach a Great Apocalypse, it is eternal, though Emperor Summer warns that endless population growth may eventually force Yuan to establish a new rule. Xue Ying believes such a rule would not involve indiscriminate slaughter because Yuan has consistently left opportunities for weaker cultivators. Both statements are informed character judgments rather than a decree shown in the corpus; Yuan's actual response to the population problem is not revealed. (Chapter 1260)

From watched candidate to fellow Overlord

In later cultivation worlds, Xue Ying infers that Yuan, Luo City Lord, and their allies favor Dao Cultivators who master their own path over bloodline methods that advance more quickly but stop at a lower Chaotic Origin grade. The corpus confirms their larger strategic reason: cultivator forces are stretched thin against hostile Chaotic Origin factions, so they need new experts and eventually new Overlords to defend many distant regions. Yuan's constructed worlds and candidate trials are therefore both cultivation projects and a response to a military imbalance that the established Overlords cannot cover with one Prime Avatar each. When Xue Ying controls a world's energy before becoming a Chaotic Origin lifeform, Yuan correctly suspects that the anomaly comes from soul comprehension, but does not pretend to know its complete mechanism from afar. After Xue Ying becomes an Overlord, Yuan travels to meet him with Luo City Lord. He cheerfully lists the Order, the core blood, a compiled technique, and other assistance he provided, while immediately crediting Xue Ying's cultivation as the real cause of success. He asks Xue Ying to drop the title “Senior” and call him Elder Brother, converting a long unequal relationship into one between Overlords without denying the history that led there. Yuan then examines the breakthrough itself. From Xue Ying's explanation, he identifies how a final-realm soul fuses with an ownerless Origin Source, how that foundation combines with a Half-Chaotic Origin body, and why the resulting route to Overlord has no comparable bottleneck once both halves are complete. His response is practical: Xue Ying's ability to raise weak avatars to Prime Avatar strength from a suitable world's Origin Source can help defend territories that take other Overlords days to reach. Yuan welcomes him into the cultivator side, proposes an Overlord gathering and public celebration, and prepares to redistribute guarded regions so the new peer assumes responsibility as well as rank. Appearance and personality

Yuan's direct appearance contrasts sharply with his remote reputation. He is an old man in a colorful, flowery robe and slippers that expose his toes, and his manner is casual enough that he laughs oddly, calls Xue Ying “brat,” and does not mind irreverent forms of address from other Overlords. When thanked, he humorously enumerates his own contributions before saying they are not worth mentioning; the scene presents pride without solemnity and makes clear that he enjoys claiming credit for a successful student. (Chapter 1388)

Beneath that playfulness, Yuan is patient, selective, and comfortable working on scales that make him seem detached. He spends immense effort creating worlds for weak cultivators, waits across ages for exceptional candidates, and expresses genuine delight when one succeeds. At the same time, he tolerates bounded conflict among lower lifeforms and concentrates intervention on threats to overall order, a stance more remote than Xue Ying's. He also recognizes limits: when no Overlord can guide the final step of the Dao of Soul, Yuan provides the strongest safe support he has and leaves the candidate to continue alone. Abilities and cultivation

Yuan is the oldest of the Cultivator Overlords and is described as one of the strongest beings in the Chaotic Origin Dimension. He reached that position through exceptionally broad Dao accumulation rather than an innate bloodline, and he remains the only Overlord in the supplied corpus able to create new Origin Worlds. The narrative names the results of that breadth far more often than his personal combat techniques, so his exact offensive forms, activation methods, costs, and counters remain unspecified.

Overlord foundation and broad Dao mastery

Yuan began as a weak cultivator and accumulated so many Daos that, after entering World Realm Chaotic Origin, he could continue drawing out his body's potential through later stages and ultimately become an Overlord. Other experts describe him as the most well-rounded of the eight existing Overlords before Xue Ying's breakthrough. Origin World creation and law-setting

Yuan is uniquely able among the eight early Overlords to create Origin Worlds. Realm Heart Great Land is eternal rather than subject to the usual cycle of expansion and Great Apocalypse, and Yuan can embed testing institutions, treasure spaces, prohibitions, and access conditions within his creations. The Broken Teeth restrictions show that his laws can confine powerful populations and ration repeated access to opportunity spaces. The text demonstrates these effects but does not give an energy cost, construction time, maximum number of worlds, or method for altering a completed world's foundational law. His world-making is also selective cultivation engineering. The Simplified Chaotic Origin Weapon method breaks a normally unusable weapon into a personal refinement process based on the cultivator's own Dao, while the Realm Heart Order carries a strand of true spirit toward another Origin World for lawful reincarnation.
