Mo Yang Chen Bai

Mo Yang Chen Bai is a powerful Mo Yang Clan knight whose resentment over his daughter's arranged marriage drives his prolonged persecution of Dong Bo Lie. That private revenge makes him the principal culprit when Dong Bo Xue Ying returns as a Transcendent.

Biography

Resentment and punishment

After Mo Yang Yu escapes an arranged marriage, the clan substitutes Mo Yang Chen Bai's daughter. Unable to oppose the clan leadership, he directs his anger at Mo Yang Yu and her husband, ordering people at East Fragrant Lake Refinery to torture Dong Bo Lie while keeping him barely alive. He later sends both imprisoned parents the cruel news that Xue Ying supposedly died at Black-Wind Cliff. (Chapters 32–33 and 78)

Xue Ying survives, becomes a Transcendent, and rescues his parents. Mo Yang Chen Bai initially doubts the report, but a refiner flying ship full of clan knights and mages arrives before he can escape. The Mo Yang Clan captures him as the principal culprit and sentences him to death that night while trying to appease Xue Ying; the supplied evidence does not separately narrate the execution. Appearance and personality

At more than ninety years old, Mo Yang Chen Bai appears as a middle-aged man in an extravagant robe, attended by numerous women in a luxurious courtyard. He is vindictive toward people with less power and threatening toward servants, yet his resentment originates in cowardice before his own clan leadership: he punishes Mo Yang Yu's family because he did not dare challenge those who arranged his daughter's fate. Abilities and cultivation

Mo Yang Chen Bai reaches the Silver Moon Knight rank after twenty years of training and receives a Bronze Order. A superior refiner armor, produced with clan resources, raises his effective combat power to the Legend rank. This strength earns high clan status, but remains dependent on the armor and is explicitly vulnerable to Pseudo-Transcendent power. (Chapters 32–33)

He does not resist the force sent to apprehend him after Xue Ying's return. No named martial technique, demonstrated battle, or advancement beyond his armor-assisted Legend-level combat is preserved. (Chapter 91)
