Imperial Wind Jin spends two thousand years accompanying emissaries because of his relatively close connection to Eastern Wood City's Ninth Prince. The mission consumes a century in visits and gifts, yet repeated appeals fail, and he also explores a proposed marriage involving Imperial Wind Qing Yin without securing assistance. (Chapters 1277 and 1284)

After Dong Bo Xue Ying arrives as Teacher Flying Snow, Jin witnesses his spar with Bat Mountain Master. The display provides the clan with evidence that its guest possesses power capable of changing their predicament. (Chapters 1280–1281)

When Devil Heart Cultist Master attacks, Jin regrets that his long diplomatic effort did not yield the strength needed to protect his younger sister. Xue Ying's intervention then prevents the immediate disaster, and Jin remains present to see the outsider fulfill the protective role that his own mission could not secure. (Chapters 1297–1300)

Appearance and personality

No stable details of Jin's body, clothing, or age are preserved. His actions portray patience and familial responsibility: he tolerates a long, humiliating diplomatic process, seeks multiple forms of alliance, and measures its failure by the danger faced by Qing Yin rather than by wounded status alone.
