Ge Bin

Ge Bin, called Bent Blade, was the chief of the Bent Blade Union and the strongest bandit near Water Rites Town. His ambush of Zong Ling and predation on nearby villages made him an early target of Dong Bo Xue Ying, whose assault destroyed both the chief and his organization. (Chapters 7, 16, and 22–30)

Biography

Fall of the Bent Blade Union

Ge Bin maintained his power through speed, ambushes, and a canyon stronghold staffed by ranked bandits. He had previously hidden in a slaughtered village and wounded Zong Ling during an ambush, and his union kidnapped girls from the surrounding region. When Xue Ying came for him, Ge Bin ordered his men to exploit their prepared position, but Xue Ying killed the union's other powerful fighters and reached the chief. Ge Bin intercepted the spear with both blades, yet the impact and the spear's superior speed and reach overwhelmed him before he could regain control. His death caused the Bent Blade Union to collapse and earned Xue Ying both a criminal bounty and formal recognition from Dragon Mountain Manor. (Chapters 7, 16, and 22–30)

Appearance and personality

Ge Bin is described as a bare-chested man who sat in command among terrified captives. He was observant enough to connect a young spear user with Zong Ling, but his authority rested on coercion and calculated violence, including ambush from concealment and the exploitation of kidnapped civilians. (Chapters 7 and 22)

Abilities and cultivation

Ge Bin was a Meteor Knight who wielded a pair of bent blades. His exceptional blade speed distinguished him even from other fighters of that rank and had allowed him to ambush Zong Ling effectively. In the final fight he used both blades to intercept Xue Ying's spear shaft, but Xue Ying's longer reach, greater speed, and impact force denied him time to counter and transmitted a frightening shock through his body. His cultivation offered no demonstrated defense against that physical disparity, and he died within only a few moves. (Chapters 7, 16, 23, and 30)
