Arma's Longsword is the Protector's weapon and an object whose hostility can act independently of its wielder.
History
A borrowed weapon reveals its will
Bom lends the Protector's sword to Yu Jitae when he prepares to confront the infected Ha Saetbyul. Vintage Clock recognizes the weapon as an object outside the world's timeline, and Yu Jitae uses it as the base for Shapeless Sword's Chainsaw Form. During the confrontation, however, the sword itself becomes the source of a violent outbreak of hostility and attempts to kill Saetbyul. Yu Jitae diverts its thrust away from her organs, then smashes the blade against Lakshata's palace gate; its destruction severs the hostile connection controlling her. (Chapters 48–50)
Abilities and properties
- Vintage Clock identifies the sword as an object outside the world's timeline, making it anomalous even among powerful artifacts. (Chapter 48)
- It can emit a distinct hostility strong enough to push against Vintage Clock and direct lethal intent toward a target independently. (Chapter 49)
- Yu Jitae can combine the blade with Shapeless Sword to form a rotating, chainsaw-like weapon, though that use does not establish the sword as the source of Shapeless Sword itself. (Chapters 48–49)
- Breaking the blade ends its active connection to the hostile force affecting Ha Saetbyul. (Chapter 50)
