Zhou Shanyue is Zhou Yanyun’s jealous son and a hostile Solitary Sword Sect senior of Chen Fan.

Biography

Hostility toward Chen Fan

Zhou Shanyue confronts Meng Hao when Chen Fan brings his former Reliance Sect junior into Solitary Sword territory. He demands that the outsider accept responsibility as a possible spy, but Chen stands protectively in front of Meng Hao. Their argument exposes the deeper grievance: Zhou recognizes the black flying dagger as his father's weapon and resents that Zhou Yanyun gave it to Chen. The Battle Arena wager

Zhou works with Elder Brother Li to humiliate Meng Hao through a supposedly fair duel. Li offers to restrict himself to mid Foundation Establishment, while Zhou agrees to match the value of Li's stake. Their taunts are designed to overcome Chen's attempts to leave. Appearance and personality

He is a handsome man of about thirty, with thin lips, phoenix-like eyes, and a habitually cold expression. Zhou is status-conscious, jealous, and vindictive. He treats his father's affection and property as things that should naturally belong to him, then channels that resentment into indirect harassment. His confidence collapses quickly when the wager turns, and his first impulse is to blame deception and evade payment.
