Sang Luo is a cruel, cautious cultivator hired by Xu Luodi to kill Meng Hao.

Biography

Expelled killer on Lonely Mountain

Sang Luo is a former Blood Demon Sect disciple expelled for breaking sect rules but allowed to keep his cultivation. From a remote mountain he cultivates a reputation that nearby clans fear, displaying the corpse of a late Foundation Establishment Clan Lord outside his dwelling. Xu Luodi therefore seeks him out to kill Meng Hao and seize the Xiao Clan's Spirit lake. Sang Luo accepts the commission and travels to the mountain village as the hired power behind Xu's plan. Defeat at the Xiao Clan

Sang Luo approaches with arrogant laughter and uses a black sealing stone to halt almost all of the Spirit-lake vines. Meng Hao kills Xu Luodi immediately, and Sang Luo's natural caution overrides pride. He tries to escape rather than gamble his life against an unknown superior. Meng Hao pursues, destroys the sealing stone, and uses the Eighth Demon Sealing Hex to stop him. A black net completes the capture. The entire reversal exposes the difference between Sang Luo's carefully cultivated local terror and a cultivator whose methods he cannot read. (Chapter 171)

Captivity and release

Inside Meng Hao's shielded room, Sang Luo presents pale-faced respect while secretly waiting for his older brother's distress response. Meng Hao examines the prickly aura around him and considers whether it is Demonic qi, but the text does not confirm the nature of that energy. Ultimate Vexation then subjects Sang Luo to prolonged moral "conversion," leaving the formerly sadistic killer terrified of the talking hat. (Chapters 172–174)

Li Shiqi arrives with Sang Luo's older brother and negotiates instead of allowing a reckless rescue attempt. Meng Hao loosens the net, and Sang Luo flees at full speed, clinging to his brother's robes while the meat jelly pursues him. His brother carries him away. Sang Luo survives because stronger sect figures choose a controlled settlement, not because his own countermeasures overcome Meng Hao. (Chapters 174–175)

Appearance and personality

He is an ugly, scarred midget dressed in black robes, with small darting eyes and a shrieking laugh. Sang Luo is sadistic toward weaker people and deliberately advertises brutality, but also exceptionally cautious when confronted by real danger. He shifts quickly from contempt to retreat, then performs obedience while waiting for rescue. His final terror of Ultimate Vexation overturns the intimidating persona he maintains among local clans.

Abilities and cultivation

Sang Luo has late Foundation Establishment cultivation built on seven Dao Pillars and uses dark restraining techniques rather than prolonged direct exchanges.

Black sealing stone

With a sweep of his sleeve, Sang Luo releases a black stone that expands and projects enough pressure to stop all but the Spirit lake's main trunk vine. The item is effective area control against the Xiao Clan's defense. Meng Hao subsequently destroys it while pursuing him, so it provides no route out once Sang Luo loses the initiative. Black wind and Demonic aura

His arts produce black wind and an invisible, prickly aura that Meng Hao tentatively wonders might be Demonic qi. Because the observation is phrased as a question rather than a revelation, the aura's origin remains unresolved. Distress signal and escape instinct

Sang Luo can call his older brother through a linked jade, allowing outside rescue to respond when he cannot win personally. That judgment preserves his life, although the Eighth Hex and black net show that his speed and seven Dao Pillars are insufficient against Meng Hao. (Chapters 171–175)
