Biography

Black Lands, Crow Divinity, and the Demon Immortal Sect

The Parrot awakens when Meng Hao channels cultivation into the copper mirror and immediately proclaims itself Lord Fifth. It is a separate being from the Meat Jelly, with whom it resumes an ancient, endless rivalry. It recognizes ancient Immortal Sense soil, drills Meng Hao's followers in a Celestial formation whose nodes are living cultivators, and explains a root-and-leaf method for transferring Tribulation Lightning from one person to another. This knowledge gives Meng Hao options for managing tribulation, but the Parrot does not simply erase Heaven's attack. (Chapters 317–326)

Lord Fifth turns the Church of the Golden Light into a mobile formation army, shields Meng Hao during the Perfect Gold Core concoction, and later leads the Church into his Gold Core Tribulation. It also explains how a Soul of Lightning can be formed from tribulation power. After pursuing the Outlander Beast, it shares that creature's man-form with the Meat Jelly while each retains a distinct mind. (Chapters 323–391)

Through the Crow Divinity wars it fights beside Meng Hao, sometimes becoming a spearhead or commanding formations. It and the Meat Jelly later evade Spirit Severing detection and return to the Black Lands, and Lord Fifth continues intervening in the Heavenly Pursuit and Demon Immortal Sect conflicts.

Southern Domain War and Dao Seeking

Meng Hao encounters an altar-bound projection of Lord Fifth's older divine will. The real Parrot and Meat Jelly react from outside while the confrontation is turned against the altar supporting it. The Wider Ninth Mountain and Sea

The Parrot accompanies Meng Hao during the South Heaven temple events and is exposed while attempting, with the Meat Jelly, to con Zhixiang. It later helps disguise Meng Hao for his arrival on Planet East Victory. (Chapters 801–892)

Nine Seas and the Windswept Realm

Lord Fifth accompanies Meng Hao through the Nine Seas God World and turns captured Demonic cultivators into a bizarre singing troupe. In the Windswept Realm it fights Han Qinglei, harasses Xue’er’s white crane, and repeatedly joins the Meat Jelly as Meng Hao’s unruly but formidable companion. Meng Clan and the Mountain and Sea War

Lord Fifth accompanies Meng Hao through the Meng Clan struggle and repeatedly becomes the Battle Weapon. It disrupts Lord White with the seafood song, joins Lord Third during the war’s opening, and fights through the assault on the 1st Heaven. As the Realm falls, it erases its own mind so that its consciousness can become complete within the copper mirror. The choice preserves the mirror's spirit automaton at the cost of Lord Fifth's memories and recognizable personality, which is why assembling the mirror later does not immediately restore Meng Hao's friend. Vast Expanse and Transcendence

The Parrot's erased spirit remains within the separated copper mirror until Meng Hao assembles all eight shards and calls it across the Vast Expanse. Though initially unable to remember him, it responds to the familiar title Lord Fifth and turns back when abandoning Meng Hao feels intolerably wrong. (Chapters 1499–1503)

The restored mirror merges with Meng Hao as black Transcendent armor, while the Parrot manifests behind him and returns the Battle Weapon to his hand. This reunion gives Meng Hao the power to overpower the Emissary of Allheaven. (Chapter 1503)

Inside Allheaven's false reality, Lord Fifth gradually recovers the memories it had erased during the fall of the Mountain and Sea Realm. It tears away the attacking faces surrounding Meng Hao, helps him recognize the deception, and prepares their escape. Beyond Allheaven

Lord Fifth continues to manifest through the restored copper mirror during Meng Hao's final battles. After enduring the long cursed epoch with Lord Third, it awakens from preservation, learns that its forgotten origin may lie beyond the known starry sky, and accompanies Meng Hao and Xu Qing into the Universe. Abilities and cultivation

Ancient knowledge and tribulation methods

Lord Fifth retains fragments of knowledge far older than its current awakening. It identifies Immortal Sense soil, teaches how miraculous root-and-leaf organisms can redirect one person's Tribulation Lightning to another, describes ways to delay or suppress tribulation, and explains the formation of a Soul of Lightning. These are methods for routing, postponing, or refining Heaven's power; they require suitable materials, formations, or a cultivator able to withstand the transferred lightning and do not make the Parrot universally immune to tribulation. Celestial formations

The Parrot builds formations from human cultivators rather than only flags and static nodes. By training the Church of the Golden Light to move as coordinated components, it turns a crowd of comparatively weak followers into a mobile formation capable of concealment, defense, and concentrated attacks. The result depends on discipline, numbers, and correct positions; disruption of the living nodes weakens the whole structure. Lord Fifth later applies the same expertise to battlefield formations and to concealing Meng Hao until a prepared tribulation can be faced on chosen terms. (Chapters 323–391)

Transformations and composite bodies

Lord Fifth can move as multicolored light, manifest a muscular humanoid form, or become the sharp head of a weapon. It can occupy the Outlander Beast's man-form together with the Meat Jelly while all three consciousnesses remain distinct, allowing the body to combine the beast's physical strength with the companions' transformations and knowledge. Copper-mirror spirit and memory

The Parrot is the spirit automaton of the Copper Mirror, yet awakening it requires cultivation input and later restoration requires all eight separated mirror shards. When it erases its mind during the Realm's fall, the completed automaton initially lacks Lord Fifth's memories. Emotional recognition—not mechanical assembly alone—causes it to turn back rather than abandon Meng Hao, after which its old identity gradually returns. Battle Weapon and Transcendent armor

The Parrot can combine with the Meat Jelly, Outlander Beast, copper mirror, and Meng Hao's power to form the Battle Weapon. At its restored peak the mirror becomes black primeval armor around Meng Hao, a colossal black Parrot projection appears, and the weapon's edge cleaves the starry sky and cuts an Emissary off from Vast Expanse energy. The resulting pressure approaches Transcendence because the components and Meng Hao act together; it is not Lord Fifth's unaided cultivation level.
