Copper Mirror
The Copper Mirror is an ancient artifact that accompanies Meng Hao from the Reliance Sect to his final journey beyond the starry sky. Its abilities develop from duplication and anti-demon-beast effects into the basis of a devastating Battle Weapon.
History
Discovery at the Reliance Sect
Meng Hao selects the corroded, apparently ordinary mirror from the Reliance Sect Treasure Pavilion. Experimentation reveals that it attacks particular features of furred and feathered creatures, while Spirit Stones allow it to duplicate pills and other objects. He conceals those powers and uses duplication to support his early cultivation. (Chapters 4, 7, and 14)
Awakening of the mirror
The mirror is eventually revealed to contain Parrot, who emerges as an independent, sentient companion rather than a possession. Much later, Parrot explains that Meng Hao's Allheaven Dao Immortal cultivation can bring the mirror into a second state: Parrot voluntarily combines with it to form the Battle Weapon. Transcendent battles
Meng Hao repeatedly calls on the mirror and Parrot to produce different Battle Weapon forms. After Dong Hu's death, Parrot places Dong Hu's pearl into the mirror, and the fusion makes it substantially stronger. During the battle with Allheaven, mirror and Parrot melt together around Meng Hao as armor while also manifesting a nine-meter weapon. (Chapters 1152, 1204, 1592, and 1602)
Abilities and properties
- It duplicates suitable objects at a cost in Spirit Stones; Meng Hao first uses this property on medicinal pills and Demonic Cores. (Chapters 14 and 19)
- Its reactions to furred and feathered beings can inflict violent, localized injuries, though the exact point affected is not always the same. (Chapters 7, 9, and 21)
- With Parrot's voluntary participation, it transforms into a Battle Weapon whose shape can vary according to the need of the fight. (Chapters 1060, 1152, and 1204)
- Dong Hu's pearl becomes a lasting enhancement fused into the mirror. (Chapters 1592 and 1602)
