Lord Revelation

Lord Revelation is a Nascent Soul diviner who joins the State of Zhao sects in forcing Meng Hao to open Patriarch Reliance's cave. The body first encountered is a clone; its destruction awakens a vengeful true self and the immense Revelation Bell.

Biography

Capturing Meng Hao

Lord Revelation divines Meng Hao's location despite the State of Zhao sects' concealment and seals the surrounding area when he arrives. He takes Meng Hao's claims seriously enough to support negotiation, but still adds his own three-colored poison to the coercion. On the march to the Reliance Sect, he enforces Meng Hao's bargain permitting an attack on Liu Daoyun, blocking the red-faced Cold Wind Patriarch from intervening. His role is therefore not merciful; he simply values an agreement that keeps the captive cooperative and the expedition moving. (Chapters 77–79)

Invasion of Patriarch Reliance's cave

Revelation is impressed by Meng Hao's scheming and suggests taking him as a servant. Inside the cave, he pursues a scripture fragment, helps extinguish the sealing lamps, and identifies Patriarch Reliance's Great Art of Demonic Life as a Demon Sealing Sect technique. When the Patriarch manifests, Revelation reveals that the body present is only a clone of a stronger true self and invokes the name of Immortal Li. The threat fails: Demonic Wolf Smoke consumes the clone, and its Nascent Soul becomes fuel for the seventh demonic lamp. (Chapters 80–83)

The true self's revenge

The clone's destruction awakens Revelation's true self beneath the enormous Revelation Bell. He crosses toward the State of Zhao, breaks the ruined Reliance Sect's snow shield with his demand, and destroys the East Mountain. A hand spanning ten thousand kilometers reaches for Meng Hao, but a blood-red Demon Lord clone severs it. Revelation then uses the bell to challenge Patriarch Reliance directly. (Chapters 88 and 92–94)

When Patriarch Reliance reveals a turtle body as large as the State of Zhao, Revelation's confidence collapses. He tries to redefine his challenge as a joke and escape the consequences, but the Patriarch swallows both him and the Revelation Bell. The sequence completes the irony of his story: a man who uses divination to control uncertain outcomes repeatedly misjudges the scale of the ancient being he is provoking. (Chapters 94–95)

Appearance and personality

The clone appears as an old man in purplish-blue robes; the true self is associated with black robes and the immense bell beneath which he meditates. Revelation is calculating, opportunistic, and domineering. He can detect bluffs and respects Meng Hao's ability to scheme, but his desire for scripture and revenge overrides caution. When confronted with Patriarch Reliance's actual size, arrogance changes instantly into frightened appeasement.

Abilities and cultivation

Divination and area control

Revelation can locate Meng Hao after multiple sects conceal the pursuit and can bind the surrounding region upon arrival. Divination provides direction and timing rather than omniscience: it brings him to the target, but does not reveal the full danger inside Patriarch Reliance's cave or guarantee the outcome of the confrontation. His miscalculation demonstrates that ancient Demon Sealing powers fall outside the assumptions supporting his forecasts. (Chapter 77 and Chapters 80–83)

Nascent Soul clone

The projected body is not a weak illusion. It possesses enough cultivation to work with Core Formation experts, poison Meng Hao, suppress interference, and attack the cave seals. Destroying it alerts the true self but does not transfer complete survival to the clone; Patriarch Reliance captures its Nascent Soul and converts it into lamp fuel. The technique extends Revelation's reach while exposing a valuable portion of his power to destruction. (Chapters 77–83)

True-self manifestation

The true self's pressure shatters regional defenses, and his hand spans roughly ten thousand kilometers. These feats place him far above the clone's visible companions, yet a Demon Lord projection can sever the hand and Patriarch Reliance's true body can consume him outright. His scale is enormous by State of Zhao standards but still relative, not absolute. (Chapters 92–95)

Revelation Bell

The bell is both his seat or enclosing treasure and the weapon with which he challenges Patriarch Reliance. Its immense form supports a confrontation on regional scale, but it does not protect him from being swallowed with it. The artifact magnifies his threat without removing the basic mismatch between a Nascent Soul cultivator and the awakened Patriarch. (Chapters 88 and 94–95)

• Meng Hao: Revelation captures, poisons, and considers enslaving him; the true self later nearly kills him while seeking revenge.
• Patriarch Reliance: Destroys Revelation's clone, uses its Nascent Soul as lamp fuel, and swallows the true self and bell.
