Lonelytomb is a sentient Demon Weapon whose fading construct is wielded by Meng Hao as the devastating Devil Spear.

Biography

The Devil Construct in the Western Desert

Meng Hao first encounters Lonelytomb indirectly through a black-robed Devil Construct tied to a vast Western Desert formation. The construct calls itself Lonelytomb, manipulates Demonic qi, and feeds on the grievances and life force of those caught in the formation. It is not yet the complete weapon: the true pale spear remains sealed on an altar beyond the vortex while innumerable faces struggle to keep it contained. The construct's techniques teach Meng Hao that a Demon Sealer can gather and shape ambient Demonic qi, and the resulting battle becomes an important step in his understanding of his own legacy. When the seal opens, the true weapon answers with overwhelming authority. The construct is a projection born from the lives Lonelytomb destroyed, while the spear is the original Demon Weapon refined by the Third Generation Demon Sealer. Meng Hao obtains the fading construct after the confrontation and uses its spear incarnation as a temporary but devastating weapon. Over the following century it continues to dissipate, yet even its weakened form can corrode a major spell formation, release bloodthirsty faces through the breach, and distinguish Meng Hao's allies from the enemies it consumes. The true Lonelytomb

The Demon Immortal Sect reveals the weapon's origin more clearly. In the sect's ancient Fourth Plane, Meng Hao sees the Third Generation Demon Sealer holding the real Lonelytomb: a long scaled spear whose silver surface intermittently darkens. The fading construct responds like a summons, confirming the connection between projection and original. When Meng Hao takes the continental mirror away, the true Demon Weapon is preserved within it along with the plane's other treasures; the continental mirror then merges into his copper mirror. (Chapters 561, 568, 613–614, 629)

Meng Hao cannot immediately wield what he has acquired. Only after entering Dao Seeking, gaining Immortal qi, and forming a Dharma Idol can he sense Lonelytomb inside the copper mirror and draw it out. The manifested weapon is red and white, saturated with Demonic qi; a tombstone appears with its strike and suppresses the surrounding area. This mature form destroys a seven-petaled attack that had checked Meng Hao's other defenses. (Chapters 793, 796)

Mountain and Sea war

Lonelytomb remains part of Meng Hao's highest-level arsenal during the war against the Outsiders. He uses it against Lord White's forces and in the conflicts surrounding the First Heaven. Against a six-Essences Outsider Dao Sovereign, Meng Hao concentrates the accumulated force of his cultivation base, fleshly body, and magical techniques into the spear. The strike cannot defeat the Dao Sovereign, but it forces the stronger enemy to use his full power and leaves the Essence tempest weakened, demonstrating that Lonelytomb amplifies a wielder capable of supplying it with sufficient force rather than providing effortless victory. Appearance and personality

The Devil Construct appears as a black-robed man with a mist-like body, a vicious expression, and an intense thirst for blood. The true weapon is first revealed as a pale white spear; in the Demon Immortal Sect it has overlapping scales that shift between silver and black, and when Meng Hao later summons it the shaft appears red and white amid surging Demonic qi.

Lonelytomb possesses a distinct destructive will, but the supplied chapters do not portray it as a conversational companion after Meng Hao gains control. Its personality is expressed through hunger, corrosive violence, and the grievances of the lives bound into its construct. The distinction matters: the hostile black-robed entity is an emanation of the weapon's accumulated slaughter, not an ordinary human who simply transforms into a spear.

Demon Weapon and construct

The true Lonelytomb is a spear refined by the Third Generation Demon Sealer. Its Devil Construct is formed from the grievances of lives the weapon exterminated and can act in humanoid form. The construct may incarnate as a Devil Spear, but it is a fading projection rather than the complete ancient weapon. (Chapters 490, 496, 614)

Demonic-qi control

The construct gathers ambient Demonic qi into spears and other attacks. Because Meng Hao is a Demon Sealer, observing and countering this method broadens his own command of Demonic qi. (Chapters 494–495)

Life-force and grievance absorption

Through the Western Desert formation, the construct draws life force and Demonic qi from tens of thousands of cultivators. The accumulated grievances become vicious faces that strengthen its aura and attack independently. (Chapter 496)

Corrosion and selective slaughter

When thrown at the Heavenly Court Alliance outpost, the fading spear erodes the defensive formation, opens a breach, and releases devouring mist. The mist leaves the Golden Crow captives unharmed while consuming hostile cultivators, showing direction from Meng Hao rather than indiscriminate leakage. (Chapter 539)

Tombstone suppression

The true weapon summoned from the copper mirror produces a tombstone with its strike. That manifestation suppresses the surrounding battlefield while the spear's Demonic qi destroys the target technique. (Chapter 796)

Force concentration

In later warfare, Lonelytomb carries the combined power of Meng Hao's fleshly body, cultivation, and magical techniques into a single penetrating attack. Its effectiveness therefore rises with its wielder and is formidable enough to trouble a six-Essences Dao Sovereign. (Chapter 1317)
