Godmaster

Godmaster is one of the three principal human Dao Realm leaders of the Nine Seas God World and an organizer of its Echelon mission.

Biography

Receiving the Echelon

Godmaster receives Meng Hao alongside Granny Nine and Ling Yunzi. Although initially expressionless, he smiles at Meng Hao's shameless eagerness for the sect's resources. He contributes the most consequential part of their history lesson: the qualified tradition that Paragon Nine Seals may have created the Mountain and Sea Realm and left the Mountain and Sea Scripture as a path toward restoring the shattered Immortal Realm. His grief when speaking of that lost realm reveals that the Echelon mission is more than routine sect policy to him. (Chapter 1041)

When the leaders offer Meng Hao unrestricted cultivation support and entry into the Windswept Realm, Godmaster watches his response and tests his uncompromising conduct toward the Demonic Horde. Meng Hao's practical answer wins his approval. Godmaster promises that if Meng Hao crushes his command medallion within one million nautical miles of the sect, he can arrive within three breaths to help. This protection is both personal support and an institutional commitment to the Echelon. (Chapter 1042)

Internal conflict and settlement

During the Horde's death trap, Godmaster restrains Granny Nine and Ling Yunzi with terse commands because the senior factions are bound by an agreement. Once Meng Hao escapes, however, he appears beside Ling Yunzi and warns that he will kill the two Demonic patriarchs if they leave the temple to intervene. After the trap collapses and the factions gather, he ends the dispute by naming the Horde's avarice as the cause, preserving Meng Hao's wager, and granting Chi Long and Wu Ling an additional Windswept entrant as compensation. The settlement puts the expedition ahead of vengeance without pretending that both sides were equally responsible. (Chapters 1070 and 1074–1075)

Godmaster later counsels Meng Hao after the fifth golden-gate trial. Rather than ask for trust in the institution, he tells Meng Hao that the essential protection is to make himself strong enough. He also recognizes Meng Hao's extinguished fleshly-body Soul Lamps as the legendary Anti-Ancient state. These moments show him acting as an interpreter of both the sect's trials and rare cultivation phenomena. (Chapters 1077 and 1081)

Windswept Realm expedition

At the appointed hour, Godmaster summons Meng Hao and joins the seven Dao patriarchs powering the realm-opening formation. His voice carries over the Ninth Sea as he invokes Paragon Sea Dream's command and orders the sea's will to open the Windswept Door. He delivers the three hundred million Immortal jades owed to Meng Hao and privately warns him that the expedition's formal call for cooperation need not erase the danger posed by the Demonic cultivators. When a massive upheaval later breaks the connection, Godmaster and the other patriarchs suffer backlash; he immediately recognizes that something catastrophic has happened inside the realm. Appearance and personality

Godmaster is an old man with an expression that is usually impassive and an archaic voice. He often sits with his eyes closed while others speak, then intervenes with a short observation or command that changes the course of a dispute. Beneath that reserve he can smile, approve, grieve, and show shock. He is pragmatic rather than blindly protective: he keeps allies from breaking an agreement, but once its terms permit action he confronts Meng Hao's enemies directly. His advice emphasizes self-reliance even while he commits sect resources to Meng Hao's growth.

Abilities and cultivation

Godmaster is a Dao Realm leader with authority over the Nine Seas God World's human faction. His clearest demonstrations concern movement, protection, formation command, and cultivation knowledge.

Dao Realm movement and deterrence

He can step out of thin air and claims the ability to reach any point within one million nautical miles of the sect in three breaths when summoned through a command medallion. His threat to kill both Demonic Dao patriarchs is credible enough to halt their movement, though the scene does not become a direct fight and therefore does not establish a named combat Essence. (Chapters 1042, 1070, and 1074)

Ninth Sea and Windswept Door

Godmaster is one of seven patriarchs who sit within pillars of light linked to the sect's formations. Speaking under Paragon Sea Dream's ancient authority, he calls upon the will of the Ninth Sea and opens the passage to the Windswept Realm. This is a cooperative working rather than a solitary feat. Its cost is exposed when the distant connection shatters: all participants tremble, cough blood, and lose the link. (Chapters 1084–1085 and 1115)

Cultivation and trial knowledge

He knows that top-ten challengers face individualized versions of the fifth golden-gate trial and uses that knowledge to guide Meng Hao through the trial's lesson. He also identifies the Anti-Ancient state from the appearance of already-extinguished fleshly-body Soul Lamps. These are demonstrations of senior insight, not evidence that he personally practices either method. (Chapters 1077 and 1081)
