Dawn Immortal

Dawn Immortal is the ancient mother of the Resurrection Lily, a false Immortal who severed her goodness and later tries to escape her own species by becoming a Blue Lotus.

Biography

Severed goodness and the Resurrection Lily lineage

The woman who becomes Dawn Immortal falls in love, sinks into grief, and severs away her goodness while pursuing Immortal Ascension. That severed goodness becomes Da Nu, while Dawn's remaining self takes the form and path of a seven-colored Resurrection Lily. She dwells in the Second Ring, is venerated by Sea Devils, creates Lily descendants, and reacts whenever Meng Hao's parasitic Lily awakens. (Chapters 665–692)

Schemes through seeds, disciples, and clones

Dawn does not use every Lily as a conscious parasite. She plants a mindless seed in Lu Bai so he can consume its power, sowing favorable karma with a talented cultivator. During the Blood Demon Sect war she sends a clone approaching false-Immortal power, manifests a massive Resurrection Lily, and holds down most of Patriarch Blood Demon's attention while directing Six-Daos toward the sect's foundation. The awakened Demon body ultimately crushes the clone, which reveals that Dawn had hoped to claim that body after Blood Demon's death. (Chapters 720–748)

Personal intervention and failed transformation

During the Northern invasion Dawn attacks personally, interferes with Meng Hao's transposition, and uses seven-colored leaves and Lily incarnations. The conflict culminates in her attempt to assimilate Meng Hao and cast off the Resurrection Lily identity. She emerges as a seven-colored Blue Lotus, but Fang Xiufeng stops the renewed attack and forces negotiation. Dawn admits that she seeks the lotus form because the man she loved once loved lotuses, asks Meng Hao for a future favor, and dissipates when she cannot restore her lost foundation. (Chapters 777–799)

Appearance and personality

Dawn appears as a cold woman associated with seven-colored leaves, petals, and a colossal Resurrection Lily; her attempted final state is a seven-colored Blue Lotus. Ages of bitterness make her proud, merciless, and patient enough to work through descendants and clones. Her final confession exposes the grief beneath that cruelty: transformation is less about Immortality than remaking herself into something once loved. (Chapters 741–748 and 790–799)

Abilities and cultivation

False-Immortal cultivation and clones

Her true cultivation is above peak Dao Seeking and comparable to a false Immortal. A clone can restrain Patriarch Blood Demon's clone and pressure multiple battlefields, but remains far weaker than Dawn's true self and can be crushed by the awakened Demon body. Destroying a clone damages a projection, not necessarily the distant original. (Chapters 741–748)

Resurrection Lily creation and control

Dawn creates seeds, branches, clones, and tentacled Lily incarnations. Conscious Lilies can parasitize hosts, while the seed given to Lu Bai lacks a will and instead supplies consumable power. This distinction shows that her lineage is configurable rather than every Lily being the same autonomous being. (Chapters 672–678 and 720–722)

Seven-colored attacks and transposition interference

She fires prismatic leaves and petals, projects exterminating will, and disrupts Meng Hao's transposition during the Northern war. These techniques pressure movement and soul as well as the body, but Meng Hao can contest them once his cultivation rises, and Fang Xiufeng can halt her final assault outright. (Chapters 742 and 777–799)

Blue Lotus metamorphosis

Dawn tries to shed the Resurrection Lily foundation and rebuild herself as a Blue Lotus by assimilating Meng Hao. The process is not a cosmetic transformation: failure costs her foundation, leaving her unable to maintain the manifestation. Without successful assimilation, the new state dissipates rather than becoming stable Immortality. (Chapters 790–799)
