Nia

Nia is one of the five dark-haired Witches rescued from captivity and later joined in Wolfe's second Pentacle. Quiet but observant, she contributes to the Den through construction planning, medical judgment, and collective advancement rather than seeking a public leadership role.

Biography

Refuge and settlement work

After her rescue, Nia works with Mio, Jenna, Mollie, and Alice Moore as the group rebuilds both its magic and daily life. She speaks less often than her companions, but the narrative makes clear that she has opinions and participates in decisions. In construction scenes she examines magical work, gathers workers and senior officers, and helps plan a clinic, secure storage, and a concealed access point suited to the Den's defensive needs. (Chapters 90, 128–137, 196, and 200–201)

Nia also pushes the settlement to think beyond immediate repairs. She argues for sustainable collective advancement and begins a broader programme of improving damaged mana pathways, volunteering as the first subject. When Katerina arrives, Nia's own condition becomes the diagnostic comparison: her older curse has dried and integrated, leaving damage even after its residue is forced out, while Katerina's still-liquid curse can be removed cleanly. The contrast gives Forest Grove a practical reason to treat young Witches early. (Chapters 201–203)

Pentacle and healing service

When offered individual advancement, Nia steps forward with Mio but supports the demand that the rescued five remain together. Their shared Rank Two breakthrough creates Wolfe's second Pentacle and turns the group's mutual dependence into an enduring magical formation. Nia later reaches Rank Three with the other Pentacle Witches and is counted among Forest Grove's best healers, applying that power on missions rather than receiving a separate command title. Her later Rank Four Awakening and Saint-rank advancement occur through the collective original-Pentacle events. Medical judgment

Nia helps diagnose how the Bloodline Curse changes with age, using her own permanently integrated damage as a comparison point. By Rank Three she is named among Forest Grove's best healers and serves on field missions. Construction and coordination

She contributes to Den construction, inspects magical structures, recruits appropriate workers, and plans protected clinical and storage spaces. These scenes demonstrate organizational and construction competence, but do not explicitly establish a named elemental affinity, Familiar, or personal signature spell; those details remain unspecified. Pentacle dependence

Nia's major rank changes occur through Wolfe's linked Pentacle system.
