Alice Moore
Alice Moore is the shortest of the five dark-haired Witches rescued into Forest Grove. Drafted from the regular class with strong marks only in Lightning, she survives capture, joins Wolfe's second Pentacle, and develops into a respected planner and security coordinator.
Biography
Draft, capture, and recovery
Alice is drafted after barely passing the Academy examination, with Lightning as her only strong subject. She tries to reassure herself that enchanted armour will keep the team alive, but the campaign instead ends in capture: bounty hunters kill the group's Guardians, knock the Witches unconscious, and bury them alive. When Wolfe finds the prisoners, Alice is visibly shaking and crying, making her later willingness to speak about the ordeal an important sign of recovery. (Chapters 99 and 128–133)
Magical pathway restoration is profoundly disorienting for Alice. She describes the process as painful pleasure that tears apart and remakes her sense of self, and the Control Servants state leaves her feeling detached from the world's order. Even after the acute crisis, she remains unusually sensitive to Wolfe's mana and asks him to reduce an array that is making nearby Witches dizzy, then deliberately meditates to integrate the excess safely. (Chapters 136 and 191)
Second Pentacle and Familiar
Alice is the first of the rescued five called forward for Second Rank. Though her knees tremble under the breakthrough's intensity, she stabilizes her new aura and gives the twins confidence to follow. When the second Pentacle completes, Alice is also the first to articulate how it differs from the Servant Bond: alongside power balancing, the five can read one another's emotions and intentions more clearly. (Chapters 230–231)
She later summons a Flame-Winged Sparrow within seconds by drawing on Wolfe's mana. Alice also joins Forest Grove's improvised war council, representing both the former prisoners and the settlement's Rank Two Witches, and helps explain its protections to visitors. These duties shift her from frightened regular-class draftee toward a participant whose judgment is requested in military and civic decisions. (Chapters 243–253)
Planning and security
Alice earns particular respect for party and city planning, completing the market-square layout in a single night. When Priya leaves for Sylvan territory, Alice assumes city-security duties and shares the administrative load around urgent artillery and defence work. Later she responds to a communications-room failure by forcing operators back onto protocol, reading message logs, and recognizing the wider undead and monster emergency even though she is not a trained radio operator. (Chapters 434, 552, and 732)
By the Luton-portal period, Alice volunteers to head portal security and schedules approved teams into limited travel slots. A foreign emissary later reports that “Lady Alice” personally heard his nation's appeal and appeared overworked, evidence that her planning role has expanded beyond local patrols. Her later formal ranks come through the established Pentacle, but the corpus does not assign her an unshown military commission or additional elemental affinities. (Chapters 877 and 1000; collective milestones in 484, 719–720, and 1039–1042)
Appearance and personality
Alice is the shortest of the five rescued Witches and has dark hair. Early scenes identify a pixie cut, while Chapter 239 describes a Faerie braiding her long black hair; the article preserves that variation instead of inventing when or how the change occurred. No stable eye colour or exact height is given. She is emotionally candid, playful after recovery, and willing to challenge poor procedure even without specialist training. (Chapters 131–133, 136, 231, 239, 286, and 732)
Magic, skills, and limitations
Lightning and aura control
Before capture, Lightning is Alice's only clearly strong Academy subject. She later senses disruptive mana pressure, meditates to integrate excess into her aura, and advances through the Witch ranks with her Pentacle. The text does not identify additional personal affinities, and suggestions that a Rank Two Witch could assist tunnelling do not by themselves prove Alice has an Earth affinity. (Chapters 99, 191, 230–231, and 466)
Flame-Winged Sparrow
Alice summons a Flame-Winged Sparrow after reaching Rank Two. The Familiar is a separate being whose fire and flight traits cannot be treated as Alice's personal spell list. The corpus does not record a named evolution or numbered rank for Alice's Sparrow. (Chapter 253)
Planning and command limits
Alice designs civic spaces, coordinates city and portal security, manages schedules, and restores communications protocol during a regional emergency. She is explicitly not a trained radio operator, so her success comes from judgment, urgency, and log analysis rather than technical mastery of every device. Her Servant and Pentacle links also carry emotional and coercive effects that are distinct from professional authority. (Chapters 136, 231, 434, 552, 732, and 877)

Relationships
- Wolfe Noxus: Wolfe rescues Alice, repairs her pathways, and anchors the bonds through which she recovers and advances. Alice also challenges him when his mana endangers nearby Witches. (Chapters 128–136, 191, and 230–231)
- Mio, Nia, Jenna, and Mollie: The other rescued Witches are Alice's chosen household and Pentacle. Their shared emotional awareness formalizes a loyalty built during captivity. (Chapters 90, 128–137, and 230–231)
- Priya Lulabeth: Alice takes over city-security responsibilities when Priya leaves for Sylvan territory, extending rather than replacing Priya's regional work. (Chapter 552)
- Cassie Noxus: Cassie calls Alice forward for her Rank Two breakthrough and helps stabilize the rescued group's advancement. (Chapter 230)
Items
No uniquely traced artifact in the final notable-item manifest is assigned to Alice. Radios, portal schedules, planning documents, uniforms, and war-council equipment are institutional tools, while her Sparrow is a living Familiar. (Chapters 133, 247, 552, 732, and 877)
