Crimson Chaotic Spear

The Crimson Chaotic Spear is the second named stage of Kang Shin's weapon-consuming spear, following the Crimson Gluttony Spear. Created by Lin, it grows by devouring other weapons and remains Shin's principal spear until a final assisted evolution replaces its reddish-black form with an unappraisable platinum successor. History

The Crimson Gluttony stage

Lin gives Shin a red metallic spear as part of the equipment he makes after the Grim Reaper battle. Equipping the Crimson Gluttony Spear binds it to Shin, and Lin reveals that it can absorb other weapons. Shin immediately feeds it the broken Black Earthen Spear, which disappears and contributes only one percent growth. The spear is initially epic grade, and Shin continues feeding it unwanted weapon rewards while using it through his early dungeon and Event Dungeon battles. Its appetite is selective enough to reject weapons it regards as duplicates, while even useful prey may advance it only slightly. (Chapters 93, 96, 100, and 150)

After consuming the Cyclops Lord's clubs, the Gluttony Spear reaches 99.9 percent growth. It cannot complete the change through further feeding alone: Shin must inject nearly all of his mana. The result is the Legend-grade Crimson Chaotic Spear, with a longer blade, a thicker shaft, red metal, and engraved markings. Material that the earlier stage had not completely digested carries over, leaving the new stage at forty-seven percent growth rather than starting empty. (Chapters 150–151)

The Crimson Chaotic stage

The evolved spear becomes Shin's regular focus for Spirit Aura, Heroic Aura, elemental power, and chaos flames. He channels ice through it against a fire-attributed giant, combines it with black lightning and Enigma against the Lava King, and concentrates his physical, magical, aura, and elemental strength at its tip during later battles. These effects depend heavily on Shin and his contracted elementals; the weapon supplies a durable focus and its own chaos-flame attribute but does not independently generate every power seen around it. The spear continues consuming weapons while its progress remains uneven. Dortu temporarily reinforces its metal and doubles the aura Shin can draw out for the same mana, but the enhancement would become permanent only if Dortu remained inside it for an extended period. Even after the spear devours the Eliminator's longsword near ninety-eight percent growth, it does not immediately evolve. Shin must keep pouring mana into the full weapon before its final change begins. (Chapters 277, 300, and 327–331)

The unnamed platinum successor

Lin determines that the first evolution wasted absorbed energy, failed to digest everything, and strengthened the weapon's inherited fire character more than intended. He places a reinforcement bead made by Eleine on the Chaotic Spear while he and Shin supply more than one and a half million mana. The bead disappears, the red-black markings vanish, and the weapon becomes a smooth platinum spear with a simpler shape and a longer, whiter blade. Shin cannot appraise the result, but it feels like part of his body and responds more naturally than the strongly individualistic Chaotic Spear. The corpus does not provide this successor with a canonical name, so the Crimson Chaotic Spear's own history ends with transformation rather than continuing under an invented title. Abilities and properties

• Crimson Gluttony Spear: The epic-grade first stage becomes bound to Shin, adds thirty Strength, adds fire damage to ordinary attacks, and has a high chance to inflict burning. Its defining property is growth through consuming weapon-type items. (Chapters 93 and 96)
• Consumption and growth: Absorbed weapons are destroyed as separate objects and contribute an amount of growth that varies with the prey. The spear may reject a weapon it considers identical to one already consumed, and reaching 99.9 percent still requires a large mana infusion to trigger evolution. (Chapters 93, 100, and 150–151)
• Crimson Chaotic Spear: The Legend-grade second stage has 450 durability, 7,000 attack, adds ten to all statistics and twenty-five percent Strength, and adds chaos flame to basic attacks. Equipping it requires 150 Strength, 150 Dexterity, and High-rank Spear Technique. It continues consuming weapons and can transform into a reddish-black choker while remaining equipped. (Chapter 151)
• Energy channel: The Chaotic Spear withstands and concentrates Shin's aura, mana, lightning, ice, Enigma, and elemental combinations. Its own chaos flame can exceed the strength Shin initially expects, but attribute matchups still matter; against a fire enemy, he deliberately substitutes Ruyue's ice rather than relying on chaos flame alone. • Imperfect evolution: The Chaotic stage has a pronounced individuality and inherits too much fire influence from Lin's original construction. It also leaves some consumed power incompletely digested, requiring Lin, Eleine's bead, and an extraordinary mana supply to produce the later platinum spear without wasting the remaining energy. (Chapters 328 and 331–332)
