Daisy Ectradion

Daisy Ectradion is a grey-elf necromancer, a veteran of Beyond, and Revival's foremost specialist against undead enemies. After betrayal and the loss of her army leave her unable to advance, Kang Shin's offer of powerful corpses restores her purpose; she subsequently turns fallen monsters and world enemies into protectors for the people Revival is trying to save. (Chapters 172–175, 191–198, and 352)

Biography

World Crises and Heroic Growth

Daisy once led the military of Selone, an elven country on Sylon. Chosen for the First Dungeon while young, she became Selone's strongest warrior, learned to raise increasingly powerful demonic beasts, acquired a god's true name, and entered Beyond to fight the invading Book Walkers. When Sylon's Hero died, Daisy lost half of her undead army. Lodert Hydelcyon then destroyed the remainder during an Event Raid with imperial support and blocked her access to replacement corpses, offering relief only if she surrendered her body to him. Daisy refused. Since dungeon monsters disappear at death and ordinary remains could not clear her next Beyond floor, she spent seventy-three years isolated in her mansion rather than submit. (Chapter 174)

Shin's defeat of Lodert removes one oppressor, but what actually moves Daisy is his willingness to supply the remains she needs and help liberate Sylon after saving Earth. The corpses preserved in Marianne's Garden have continued evolving, giving her viable foundations for a new force. She converts them, integrates their abilities into a disciplined undead army, and resumes climbing; by the Panan expedition she has cleared Beyond's thirteenth floor and arrives as Revival's reinforcement because Shin had given her strength and hope when she had abandoned both. Her acceptance is not immediate dependence but a calculated return to action that becomes genuine loyalty as his promises repeatedly produce results. (Chapters 174–175, 191–193, and 202)

On Panan, Daisy's harsh experience with a destroyed world shapes both her usefulness and her conflict with Shin. She scouts and transports the party with undead, protects the refugee children, and takes over their underwater shelter while Shin draws out the El Patiz. When the escape route narrows, however, she recommends abandoning one child to improve the others' chances, reflecting the survival calculus she learned on Sylon. Shin rejects the sacrifice, and Daisy ultimately follows his decision, secures every child, and helps complete the rescue. Back on Earth she endorses Revival's promise to save multiple worlds and looks forward to the difficult campaign, marking a shift from solitary resignation to shared responsibility. (Chapters 191–198)

Guardians and World Enemies

Daisy becomes one of Revival's most durable front-line members during Earth's expanding monster crisis. She fights through the Lava King's army despite heat and exhaustion, but Shin excludes her from neither the advance nor the final raid because her unique power is essential to converting the guardian's remains. Her divine patron Hecate manifests after the battle and warns that the corpse will revive uncontrollably if left untreated. Daisy could perform the conversion herself with enough time, but Hecate accelerates the process by expending her mana and withdrawing Daisy's other undead. The resulting Laki retains intelligence, flight, flame, and room to grow, although its control of lava is weaker than the living king's. (Chapters 221–232)

The campaign then returns Daisy to Sylon, where she accompanies Shin through his dungeon portal and confronts the Book Walkers who ruined her world. Her undead provide transportation, defense, scouting, and mass combat while she and Revival destroy the invaders' forces and the world enemy behind them. Shin also vests Sylon's recovered world power in Daisy, making the former abandoned commander her world's new Hero. That restoration does not erase Sylon's devastation or instantly explain every responsibility of the office, but it gives Daisy both the authority and the long-term possibility she had lost when the prior Hero died. (Chapters 234–240)

Daisy's necromancy remains strategically decisive against later enemies because it can interfere with powers that ordinary attacks cannot permanently end. During the battle with the King of Dead, Shin's party identifies her as one of the few means of breaking his immortality. She eagerly claims the prospective corpse, joins Sumire against him, and uses her magic to diminish the death energy sustaining him while reacting faster than his curse-driven countermeasures. The victory gives her another exceptional undead rather than only a defeated threat, continuing the pattern by which Revival converts a world's most dangerous beings into defensive strength. (Chapters 284–296)

Final Wave and Dungeon's End

During the Greenland expedition, Daisy relies on Aikan and Laki as alternating large-scale assets. Aikan carries the group and shifts into a defensive mode, while Laki supplies flight, flames, and battlefield pressure when a different role is needed. When the dungeon suppresses explorers' personal strength, Daisy explains that necromancers and tamers can retain more of their effectiveness so long as the link to their creatures remains secure. She therefore protects the living not by disregarding the dungeon's restrictions, but by preserving command relationships that let already-raised allies continue fighting in her place. (Chapters 313–322)

Daisy joins the gathered force for the final conflict and receives a dedicated Grand Raid when an enemy attacks Sylon's world power, a battle in which the dungeon can provide only partial support. After Shin defeats Sherafina's design and begins separating the connected worlds, he returns Sylon's power to Daisy. She remains alive, activates her divine power strongly enough to restrain him playfully, and refuses the idea that returning to Sylon means leaving him; during the ensuing wedding arrangements she is counted among his brides. Her latest state combines restored responsibility to her world with the personal bonds she formed through Revival. (Chapters 343, 347, and 352)

Appearance and personality

Daisy is a petite grey elf with a narrow frame, pale grey-white skin, ash-colored hair, thin ash-colored lips, and small pointed ears. Her red irises are unusually large and give her gaze an unsettling intensity befitting her innate Evil Eyes. In combat she commonly wears a grey blazer, black leather miniskirt, stockings, high heels, and a sharp grey beret; her chain whip can be wrapped around her waist or arm like an accessory because her enchantment incorporates equipment into that battle uniform. (Chapters 174–177)

Her speech is slow and fragmented, while her expression is often flat enough to make grim suggestions or jokes sound equally serious. Daisy can appear apathetic about ordinary convention, openly covets exceptional corpses, and evaluates danger with the ruthless practicality of someone who survived a fallen world. She is nevertheless capable of gratitude, humor, and strong attachment. Shin's help draws out smiles and teasing, the Panan rescue teaches her to act within a more hopeful plan, and her later choices show that protecting Revival and remaining with Shin have become commitments rather than transactions for corpses. (Chapters 174, 193–198, 224, and 307–352)

Powers and abilities

Daisy's abilities center on necromancy reinforced by long First Dungeon and Beyond experience, an innate form of Evil Eyes, an equipment-fusing enchantment, and Hecate's divine power. Her system is unusually dependent on preparation: a powerful corpse can become a growing combatant, but obtaining, converting, storing, and maintaining command of suitable remains are material requirements rather than flavor. This dependence explains both the seventy-three-year halt in her progress and the scale of her resurgence after joining Revival. (Chapters 174–175, 193, and 228–232)

Necromancy and undead command

Daisy turns intact corpses into undead by supplying mana and applying her necromantic control, often through her chain whip. Stronger remains produce more valuable servants, while inferior corpses can be broken down into mana to reinforce others. Her undead can be stored, summoned in numbers, ordered into formations, used for transport or scouting, and directed to deploy their own abilities. Exceptional servants retain intelligence and can continue growing after conversion. Dungeon monsters ordinarily vanish instead of leaving bodies, however, and ordinary remains are too weak for upper Beyond; conversion also takes time and mana, so access to suitable corpses is the fundamental limit on her class. (Chapters 174–175, 191–195, and 221–232)

Her principal late servants demonstrate different applications. Aikan is a massive undead world enemy used as a mount, shelter platform, mana-wave attacker, and defensive bulwark. Laki, raised from the Lava King, is an intelligent aerial fighter whose fire can clear armies and whose strength can still increase, though it cannot reproduce all the living guardian's lava control. Daisy generally cannot keep two overwhelming undead of that scale deployed together, so she withdraws or exchanges one for the other. If dungeon suppression or distance breaks her command link, their practical advantage can also disappear; if the link remains secure, their own power is less reduced than hers. (Chapters 191–197, 228–232, 255–257, and 313–322)

Hecate and divine restraint

Before Sylon fell, Daisy earned a god's true name and the ability to use Deific Manifestation. The being she calls her master appears as Hecate, a whip-wielding divine figure whose powers include commanding undead, erecting barriers, and turning spilled blood into restraints. Hecate can supplement Daisy's necromancy directly: after the Lava King raid, she identifies the danger of spontaneous revival, draws in Daisy's existing army, expends her own manifested mana, and completes Laki's conversion before the corpse can escape control. The source does not establish Hecate's full origin in other worlds or a fixed duration for every manifestation. (Chapters 228–232)

At the end, Daisy can activate this divine power without relying on the dungeon's ordinary battle support and uses it to bind Shin. That example shows continued access after the final conflict, but it is playful rather than a measured combat test. The restraint should therefore not be treated as unlimited control over stronger beings: Hecate's earlier work consumes substantial mana, and the King of Dead campaign shows Daisy operating as a specialist within a coordinated party rather than nullifying immortality by herself. (Chapters 284–296 and 352)

Evil Eyes, combat skill, and enchantment

Daisy was born with telepathic Evil Eyes. They can send her thoughts to another person, receive thoughts, and read an unguarded mind, allowing silent coordination even in combat. Another Evil Eyes user can notice or resist the intrusion, and Shin demonstrates that a defended mind sharply limits what she receives. These eyes are distinct from his petrification power: Daisy uses them for communication and perception, not to turn targets to stone. Their precise maximum range is not stated, so their demonstrated application is best understood as close tactical telepathy rather than unrestricted surveillance. (Chapters 174, 193–196, and 264)

Although her army defines her role, Daisy is also an experienced warrior able to survive Beyond and fight with a chain whip. Her unique enchantment folds equipment and the functions of acquired weapons into her battle uniform and whip; she sacrifices Million Tentacle as material, giving the whip its functions without retaining the original weapon's form. The weapon can therefore develop as more equipment is absorbed, but the text does not provide a complete inventory or claim that every absorbed property remains equally strong. Her progress to First Dungeon Platinum rank and Beyond's higher floors confirms substantial personal ability, while her slower clear speed and corpse dependence keep it from replacing her necromancy. (Chapters 175, 193, 202, and 215)

Relationships

  • Kang Shin: Shin ends the blockade that kept Daisy from acquiring corpses, gives her the means and hope to resume Beyond, and promises to help save Sylon. Daisy becomes one of his most reliable specialists, trusts his decisions even when her survival logic differs, and remains with him after he returns her world's power. (Chapters 172–175, 191–198, and 352)
  • Aikan: A powerful undead world enemy whom Daisy uses as a mount, fortress, attacker, and defender. His intelligence and scale make him one of her most versatile servants, although deploying him can prevent her from fielding another overwhelming undead simultaneously. (Chapters 191–197 and 313–322)
  • Laki: The undead Lava King created through Daisy and Hecate's joint conversion. Laki retains intelligence, flames, flight, and the potential to grow, becoming a recurring large-scale protector for Revival. (Chapters 228–232, 255–257, and 313–322)
  • Ren Verotude Goldlion: A fellow refugee from a nearly lost world and later Revival member. Daisy helps protect Ren's children on Panan, witnesses his acceptance of its world power, and fights beside him through Revival's later crises. (Chapters 191–198, 224, and 343–352)
  • Minami Violet Sumire: A Revival comrade who fights with Daisy against the King of Dead. Their cooperation lets Daisy concentrate on the immortal enemy's sustaining power while the party withstands his attacks. (Chapters 293–296)

Items

Daisy has no separately cataloged personal item. Her primary equipment is an enchanted chain whip incorporated into her battle uniform; it can absorb the functions of other weapons and grow, but it is not represented by an independent item article in the catalog. (Chapters 175 and 193)
