Little Red Bean — Heavenly Jewel Change

Little Red Bean is a Silver Emperor Heavenly Beast captured and bound by Zhou Weiqing before becoming one of his most dangerous companions. Its Wind and Spatial Attributes make it an exceptionally fast aerial assassin, while its intelligence lets it understand detailed instructions and guide the group to other Heavenly Beasts. It later protects Zhou during his challenge on Heavenly Snow Mountain and dies attacking Gu Yingbing, a sacrifice Zhou continues to mourn.

Biography

Ambush, capture, and enforced submission

The Silver Emperor first attacks Zhou, Shangguan Fei'er, and Lin TianAo as a wild predator. Its extreme speed and fused Silver Emperor Spatial Rend make the small beast lethal, but Lin's shield blocks the decisive charge and the group injures and pins it. Zhou keeps the stubborn creature alive because he wants a powerful companion rather than a corpse. (Chapter 117)

Zhou combines his tri-Attribute venom, Devour, and the Blood Rites Seal of Darkness to force submission. The Silver Emperor initially resists even under severe pain; the dark seal and the bloodline pressure of Zhou's Dark Demon God Tiger transformation finally overcome it. The resulting bond is coercive in origin, marked by a dark red seal symbol, but it also establishes communication and prevents the beast from turning its violence against Zhou's allies. Guide and guardian of the Peerless Battalion

Little Red Bean quickly demonstrates more intelligence than Da Huang and Er Huang. It understands Zhou's prohibition against killing Ghost Demon Horses, guides the party to their herd, and uses a piercing cry and bloodline pressure to help subdue the horses without slaughtering them. Its predatory diet had included animal, Heavenly Beast, and human brains, but Zhou expressly forbids it from eating people after the bond. (Chapter 118)

The Silver Emperor then serves as mobile backup and camp defense. During the battle with Blood Red Hell experts, Little Red Bean hides beneath Zhou's arrow until it is carried into striking distance of Heavenly King Han Tianyou. It layers Spatial Rend, Wing Slash, and Silver Emperor Lightning Pierce into the ambush, punching through Han Tianyou's torso, breaking ribs, and inflicting a grave wound before he can respond. The beast then holds an eight-Jeweled Heavenly Jewel Master to a standstill. Its continuing threat helps Zhou make a bluff credible enough to secure mutual withdrawal, but the episode also shows that even a perfectly arranged surprise does not guarantee an immediate kill against a Heavenly King. Long Shiya soon demonstrates the limit of that power. His Fetters of Wind restrains Little Red Bean effortlessly, despite the Silver Emperor's speed, when he intervenes in the aftermath. Last attack on Heavenly Snow Mountain

Zhou reserves Little Red Bean as his final hidden asset during the challenge against Gu Yingbing. The Silver Emperor explodes from concealment after Zhou is badly injured, shatters the Divine Guardian Angel defense, and opens a deep cut along Gu's ribs when he barely shifts his vital points away. Gu answers with a golden-red net empowered by Divine and Spirit Attributes. Little Red Bean attempts to escape with Spatial Rend and Silver Emperor Lightning Pierce, but the net catches and tears its body apart. (Chapters 159–160)

Its death is not erased by the coercive beginning of the bond. Later, when Zhou encounters two other upper-level Zong Stage Silver Emperors, he remembers Little Red Bean as his old pet and recalls that it was killed protecting him. Appearance and personality

Little Red Bean is a small, agile bird-like Heavenly Beast covered in silvery-white feathers, with little red eyes and wings suited to abrupt, high-speed changes of direction. As a wild Silver Emperor it is savage, stubborn, and accustomed to eating brains. Little Red Bean is an upper-level Zong Stage Silver Emperor, below the Heavenly King level but dangerous to stronger cultivators because of speed, small size, and concentrated piercing force. It can fly, maneuver with exceptional agility, exert bloodline pressure on lesser beasts, and survive as a high-order predator.
