Han Bing

Han Bing is a core Blood Red Hell disciple and one of the Dan Dun Battle Team's strongest tournament fighters. His duel with Little Four demonstrates extraordinary control over a modest Water Attribute Skill, but his determination to kill an apparently trapped opponent costs him his own life and deepens Blood Red Hell's feud with the Fei Li team.

Biography

Frozen Sacrifice and a fatal opening

Han Bing enters the Heavenly Jewel Tournament after Lan Feng loses to Lin TianAo. Facing Little Four, he converts repeated casts of Cone of Cold into a mobile formation of thirty-six ice cones. Each new wave merges with the surviving projectiles, making them larger and more dangerous while renewing their duration. Little Four's speed and Spatial Blink keep him alive, but Han eventually spreads the formation across the arena and activates his self-created Frozen Sacrifice, freezing nearly the entire stage. Certain that the attack has ended the match, Han drops the blue shield protecting his body. Little Four, who had sprayed himself with water so the ice would form a protective shell, Blinks from behind a nearby ice block and severs Han's undefended neck. (Chapters 85–86)

Han's death immediately raises the contest from a tournament dispute to a Saint Land grievance. Shen Little Demon asks the Heavenly Snow Mountain representatives to revive him and, when told that death cannot be reversed, declares the teams mortal enemies before Shangguan Longyin imposes terms that let the tournament continue. Later references reveal that Han was the only disciple of Han Tianyou; the elder's attempt to kill Zhou's group is direct retaliation for the loss. Han has no later living appearance in the supplied corpus. (Chapters 87–98, 137–139)

Appearance and personality

Han Bing is introduced as a young man whose calm, cold manner fits the title Frost Priest. The supplied chapters do not give a detailed account of his clothing, build, or facial features; the most distinct visual elements in his scene are his red staff, blue defensive light, and expanding field of ice. (Chapter 85)

He is disciplined, emotionally controlled, and technically inventive. Rather than spend Heavenly Energy on high-ranked Stored Skills, he refines a low-ranked Skill into a formation whose timing, trajectories, and repeated mergers require exceptional mental control. That composure coexists with lethal pride. He pursues a killing blow to defend Blood Red Hell's standing, assumes Frozen Sacrifice has made Little Four helpless, and removes his own defense before verifying the result. (Chapters 85–86)

Abilities and cultivation

Han Bing is a six-Jeweled Upper Level Zun Stage Heavenly Jewel Master who has only recently reached that level. His red Physical Jewels enhance Coordination, while his Star Sapphire Elemental Jewels give him the Water Attribute. His most important technique begins with Cone of Cold, an ordinary four-star Stored Skill. He can create thirty-six small cones at once, maneuver them independently through a roughly fifteen-yard region, and attack from several directions in successive waves. The field also chills the air enough to slow an opponent's reactions. (Chapters 85–86)

His innovation is to merge later Cone of Cold casts into earlier ones. This increases their size and power and refreshes how long they can remain active, allowing a low-ranked Skill to accumulate force without the energy cost of repeatedly using a much higher-ranked technique. The limitation is control: every surviving cone adds to the mental burden, and the formation cannot be maintained indefinitely. Frozen Sacrifice is the culmination, distributing the accumulated cones before detonating their cold to cover the arena. Its power exceeds what most seven-Jeweled masters could produce while consuming only about thirty percent of Han's total Heavenly Energy, but committing the formation leaves his personal defense vulnerable—the precise opening Little Four exploits. (Chapter 86)

Relationships

  • Han Tianyou: Han Bing is Han Tianyou's only disciple. The elder's attachment transforms Han's tournament death into a later attempt at personal vengeance.
  • Shen Little Demon: Shen Little Demon is Han's battle-team leader and fellow Blood Red Hell core disciple. She tries to obtain a resurrection after his death and treats the loss as an attack on their Saint Land.
  • Little Four: Little Four survives Han's intended killing blow through misdirection and Spatial Blink, then kills him the moment his shield falls.
  • Lan Feng: Lan Feng is Han's Dan Dun teammate. He recognizes Han's superior control and carries his body away after the match.
  • Zhou Weiqing: Zhou does not kill Han personally, but Blood Red Hell holds his team responsible, making him the eventual target of Han Tianyou's retaliation.

Items

  • Red socketed staff: Han channels his ice formation while holding a long red staff fitted with three Elemental Jewel sockets. The text does not give the weapon a formal name. (Chapter 85)
