Lan Feng

Lan Feng is the fourth-ranked member of the Dan Dun Battle Team's primary lineup. He is affiliated with Blood Red Hell but is explicitly an outer member, not one of the team's two core Saint Land disciples. His speed-driven duel with Lin TianAo ends when Lin turns Lan's aggression against the tournament boundary.

Biography

Outmaneuvered in the tournament ring

Lan Feng reacts angrily when Lin TianAo challenges several Dan Dun fighters in sequence and attacks before Lin can fully deploy his equipment. He relies on speed, a green short sword, and concentrated Heavenly Energy rather than expensive Stored Skills, delivering more than a hundred increasingly fast strikes while looking for a weakness in Lin's shields. When direct attrition fails, he damages the stage beneath Lin's feet, uses green Wind Attribute mist to dampen the reflected force from the shields, binds Lin with Fetters of Wind, and commits to a full-power thrust. Lin has deliberately left him that opening: an illusory shield conceals stone armor, his vital point shifts aside, and the trapped sword and arm let him throw Lan off the platform. Lan protests the trick, but accepts the ring-out when his team leader orders him to do so. (Chapters 83–84)

He remains with the team through its escalating conflict with Fei Li. Lan carries Han Bing's corpse after the latter's fatal match and later pleads with Zhou to save the poisoned Shen Little Demon, offering to abandon personal revenge while admitting that, as an outer member, he cannot make promises for Blood Red Hell. After Zhou performs the cure, Lan leaves with his teammates and their hostility intact. His final supplied appearances concern the Dan Dun team's tournament strategy rather than another individual fight. (Chapters 85–92)

Appearance and personality

The corpus identifies Lan Feng as a male member of Dan Dun's principal five-person group but provides no substantial description of his face, age, or build. In combat, his green armor, short sword, and Wind Attribute energy dominate his visual presentation. (Chapters 83–84)

Lan is proud, quick-tempered, and intensely loyal to his teammates. Lin's challenge provokes him into rushing the opening, yet his combat choices are not mindless: he conserves Heavenly Energy, changes tactics when pure speed fails, and tries to neutralize the rebound from Lin's shields. His defeat shows his main weakness—he focuses on winning the exchange and overlooks that a tournament can be lost by ring-out. Afterward, grief and concern for Shen Little Demon make him pragmatic enough to bargain with Zhou, even though he remains hostile. (Chapters 84–89)

Abilities and cultivation

Lan Feng is a five-Jeweled Heavenly Jewel Master at the Heavenly Shen Energy Stage. His green Dragonstone Jade Physical Jewels enhance Agility, and his Elemental Jewels grant the Wind Attribute. Speed is the foundation of his style: his sword combinations accelerate through sustained chains of strikes, while he compresses Heavenly Energy around his hand and blade to increase their force. He can use green Wind mist to soften the shock reflected from a heavy defense and Fetters of Wind to restrain a target before a decisive thrust. (Chapter 84)

His approach is efficient against an ordinary opponent but poorly matched against Lin's layered endurance and deceptive construction of shields. Avoiding Stored Skills preserves energy, yet repeated physical blows still fail to breach Lin's defense. His final binding also does not prevent Lin from sacrificing armor, shifting a vital point, and using the lodged weapon as leverage. (Chapter 84)

Relationships

• Lin TianAo: Lin defeats Lan by surviving his speed assault, presenting a false opening, and throwing him out of bounds rather than overpowering him directly.
• Han Bing: Lan respects Han's greater strength and control as a Dan Dun teammate. He carries Han's body after Little Four kills him.
• Shen Little Demon: Shen Little Demon is Lan's team leader and one of its true Blood Red Hell core disciples. Lan obeys her decisions and urgently seeks Zhou's help when she is poisoned.
• Zhou Weiqing: Lan bargains with Zhou for Shen Little Demon's life but cannot promise peace on behalf of Blood Red Hell, exposing the limit of his position as an outer member.
