Ericia

Ericia is the Moon Wolf princess of Kiroa, queen of the surviving Langs, and one of Yu IlHan’s longest-serving commanders. She first submits to him to prevent her people’s extermination, but the bargain develops into freely chosen loyalty as he gives the wolfkin a future beyond the war that corrupted them. Her royal moon blessing evolves alongside that responsibility: it begins as the bloodline power that keeps the wolfkin race alive, grows into a commander’s enhancement for her followers, and ultimately becomes the authority of the Goddess of the Moon.

Biography

A princess bargaining for survival

Ericia returns to Kiroa after the Destruction Demon Army has divided the wolfkin and sent its red-wolf faction against Earth. By the time she meets IlHan, he has the power to destroy both the invaders and any survivors he judges complicit. Ericia therefore approaches him not from an equal negotiating position but as the one person whose royal blood can preserve the race. Wolfkin require a baptism containing that blood to receive the moon’s blessing; without her, they will eventually disappear. The enemy’s attempt to capture rather than kill her is proof that her body and office are strategic resources. (Chapters 115–116)

She offers herself as IlHan’s subordinate in exchange for the black wolves who resisted or survived the Destruction Demon Army. IlHan tests that submission through Rule, which identifies her as the Moon Wolf and accelerates her growth. Ericia then turns the surviving wolves against their corrupted kin, declaring that they should grant eternal rest to those the enemy has tainted. This is both a military choice and an act of royal responsibility: she accepts that preserving the race requires ending the force that used its name to invade another world. (Chapter 116)

When the battle ends, Ericia kneels behind IlHan and the remaining wolves follow her, making her personal bargain binding for the people who recognize her crown. Yet she does not immediately abandon Kiroa. She asks for time to gather survivors and establish a habitat, placing resettlement before her own place at IlHan’s side. Only after that work is settled does she return and announce that she will serve him directly. Her submission begins under pressure, but her first actions within it consistently protect the wolfkin rather than seek personal safety. (Chapters 117, 121)

Learning service without surrendering rule

IlHan’s accelerated training environment subjects Ericia to two months of combat and growth while almost no outside time passes. She trains with Yumir and the elves, consumes useful remnants from fallen wolfkin, and is pushed by angels whose standards are far above ordinary lower existences. The process makes IlHan’s strength tangible. He does not merely own her through a skill; he provides the training, equipment, and strategic shelter that can make her promise to preserve the Langs achievable. (Chapters 121–125)

Ericia’s response is not to stop acting as a princess. She continues communicating with Flemir and the wolfkin, distributes IlHan’s orders, and evaluates how his plans affect her people. Her royal role now operates inside a wider command structure. She calls IlHan “Master,” but the questions she raises about growth, deployment, and the wolves’ welfare show that loyalty has not removed judgment. Instead, she becomes an intermediary able to translate between one overwhelmingly powerful leader and a race whose future depends on following him. (Chapters 123–125, 143–145)

Her affection grows through this period as well. Ericia sees that IlHan’s harsh training is paired with practical care, and that he treats her followers as forces worth developing rather than expendable remnants. She remains ceremonious in public, yet her ears betray happiness and she joins the physical welcome when his scattered companions reunite. The emotional change matters because Rule guarantees obedience, not the warmth and admiration she develops through living under his protection. (Chapters 123, 141)

Commander of the scattered allies

During the Abandoned World crisis, Ericia is no longer a rescued princess waiting behind stronger fighters. She leads elite wolves through prolonged combat against enormous monster populations, keeps their formation intact, and coordinates the reinforcements made possible when Yumir crosses the gate. The world gives the party no easy retreat, so command consists of maintaining discipline and growth through an extended campaign rather than winning a single duel. Ericia reaches third class during this ordeal, converting the pressure that endangered her people into a new level of authority over them. (Chapters 138–146)

Her moon blessing makes that progression collective. Ericia grows personally, but her title and royal power also strengthen the wolfkin fighting under her. This makes her value different from an isolated high-level combatant: every gain she can pass through the pack improves the survival odds of the force as a whole. She continues serving in that role through the Battle of Competition and subsequent catastrophes, coordinating wolfkin deployments while IlHan handles enemies whose league is beyond hers. When Dareu and other worlds suffer higher cataclysms, Ericia helps hold the surviving elves and Langs together. Her allegiance to IlHan now gives displaced peoples a moving center in his fortress network rather than leaving each race trapped in a dying world. She later commands the wolfkin contingent aboard the Guardian Fortress, where her knowledge of pack hierarchy and the moon blessing turn a population IlHan once considered an enemy into an organized part of his faction. Dragon’s Nest’s moon commander

Ericia enters Dragon’s Nest when IlHan creates an independent faction and opens a path for his subordinates to become higher existences. Her rebirth makes her a fifth-class dragon while preserving the Moon Wolf power that defines her relationship to the Langs. The transformation is therefore additive rather than erasing: she becomes dragonkind, but the blessing of the moon remains strong enough to shape what kind of dragon she is. (Chapters 309–316, 321)

That combination changes the target of her support. Before rebirth, Ericia’s royal blessing principally governs wolfkin. As a dragon, she can strengthen other dragons as well, and its effect is especially strong on Flemir because he shares her original race. IlHan pairs the two with stronger dragons and assigns them to defend Dareu from Legnae and similar incursions. Ericia’s fifth class is modest beside the faction’s greatest powers, but her enhancement lets a coordinated defense exceed what her individual level suggests. (Chapter 321)

The appointment completes her development from a princess preserving refugees into a commander entrusted with a world. IlHan does not need her to imitate his personal offense; he needs her to multiply a force, recognize attacks that threaten the population, and keep Dragon’s Nest’s home secure while its highest members fight elsewhere. Her latest wartime role therefore remains consistent with her first choice in Kiroa: use the power attached to her blood and crown so that others survive. (Chapters 321–348)

The Goddess of the Moon and the Langs’ future

After the faction war, Ericia’s authority matures into the title Goddess of the Moon. The later Langs can become dragons and return to wolf form, giving the race unusual versatility and growth potential. Her moonlight also grants her extraordinary protection: under the moon, even an opponent of higher level cannot easily defeat her, and she states that a loss there will not result in her death. When she demonstrates the power, silver mana fills her body and an attack that should pierce her fails without requiring an ordinary defensive stance. (Chapters 366–367)

Peace does not end her obligation to the Langs. On the eve of her marriage to IlHan, she learns that their demographic crisis has taken a new form: the women of the race have fixed their attention on the strongest possible partner, threatening the ordinary bonds needed for the population to continue. Ericia answers as queen, not simply as a bride protecting her own place. She uses her authority and moon power to impose a test the challengers cannot casually pass, turning a chaotic demand into a hierarchy the Langs understand. (Chapter 367)

Her marriage follows safely, but the scene shows why romance and rulership cannot be separated for Ericia. She loves IlHan as the man who saved and trained her people, while the Langs see union with him as security for their lineage. Ericia accepts both motives without reducing herself to a political offering. She has moved from bargaining away her freedom under threat to choosing the same partner from a position of divine and royal power. (Chapters 366–367)

Appearance and personality

Ericia’s humanoid form has long, curly black hair, visible wolf ears, a youthful face, and a mature figure. Her ears are unusually expressive, twitching or perking up when her controlled royal manner would otherwise conceal excitement. Under the full expression of her moon divinity, silver magic drenches her body and her hair can appear silver in the light; sharp claws can extend from her fingers. (Chapters 121, 123, 367)

She carries herself as royalty and treats promises seriously. Even while surrendering, she asks for time to resettle her people, and even after becoming IlHan’s subordinate she continues to question plans whose consequences concern them. She is dependable in formation and command, but not emotionally cold: she enjoys food, shows affection physically, and can be embarrassed when her ears expose what she feels. (Chapters 117, 123, 141–145)

Her later speech can be sharp, especially by human standards, though it remains restrained compared with ordinary Lang behavior. Pride in IlHan, competitiveness over her place beside him, and care for younger fighters coexist in her exchange with Eunice: Ericia mocks the challenge, recognizes genuine talent, explains why the attack failed, and offers a future rematch. That balance of severity and encouragement is the same quality she brings to the Langs—she will punish disorder, but her purpose is to give the group a future. (Chapter 367)

Abilities and classes

Ericia’s power is rooted in the Moon Wolf bloodline and its royal blessing. Rule accelerates her growth after she becomes IlHan’s subordinate, prolonged campaigns carry her through third class, and Dragon’s Nest later rebirths her as a fifth-class dragon. Unlike a conventional attacker whose advancement remains personal, Ericia’s most important abilities distribute strength through racial and command bonds. (Chapters 116, 122–125, 139, 309–321)

Moon Wolf bloodline and transformation

As a Moon Wolf, Ericia can move between humanoid and wolf forms. The corpus presents this as an innate racial capability rather than a learned spell. Her humanoid body preserves visible wolf traits such as ears and later claws, while wolf form connects her directly to the people who recognize the royal line. The exact physical multipliers of either form are not stated, so the demonstrated value is flexibility rather than a numerical increase. (Chapters 115–116, 121, 367)

Royal blood also enables the baptism by which other wolfkin receive the moon’s blessing. This is why Ericia’s survival matters at the species level and why the Destruction Demon Army attempts to possess rather than simply kill her. The blessing is not merely ceremonial: without access to the royal line, the wolfkin cannot maintain the power on which their continued identity depends. Dragon rebirth does not remove those traits. Later Langs can become dragons and then return to wolf form, while Ericia herself remains identifiable as both dragon and Moon Wolf. Her latest state combines the durability and mana sensitivity of dragonkind with a transformation system that still answers to the moon. (Chapters 321, 367)

Blessing of the moon

The Blessing of the Moon Goddess first appears as one of Ericia’s titles when IlHan examines her status. It accelerates and empowers her under moonlight, and her third-class advancement strengthens the blessing she can extend to her followers. In operations, this lets her serve as a center around which wolfkin fight above the effectiveness expected from their separate levels. (Chapters 116, 139–146)

After Ericia becomes a dragon, the blessing expands to dragon targets. She can enhance allies of her new race, with an especially large effect on Flemir because his dragon state retains the same wolfkin origin. IlHan explicitly accounts for that amplification when assigning them to stronger dragons for Dareu’s defense. The power is thus both racial and relational: it works broadly on dragons in her latest state, but shared wolf heritage produces the clearest synergy. (Chapter 321)

Her later Goddess of the Moon authority intensifies the effect on herself. Under the moon, silver mana protects her so thoroughly that Eunice’s direct spear thrust cannot wound her, and Ericia claims that even defeat by someone of higher level will not kill her. This protection is conditional on moonlight; the corpus does not establish the same immortality away from the moon or explain whether an overwhelmingly stronger enemy can bypass it. Pack command and distributed power

Ericia’s command ability is not a named combat skill, but it repeatedly determines how her blessing is used. As queen, she can also impose order through the cultural authority of the Moon Wolf. Under moonlight, lower Langs struggle even to raise their heads against her, and she can suppress the sound of their howling from spreading beyond the area. These effects show a combination of magical pressure and recognized sovereignty, though the text does not divide precisely how much comes from divinity and how much from the subjects’ racial response. Her latest application is defensive command. Assigned to protect Dareu, she pairs enhanced dragons with forces suited to the threats IlHan expects. This role has a practical limitation: Ericia is fifth class, below the upper ranks of the faction war, so her greatest contribution is formation, blessing, and multiplication rather than dueling the strongest leaders alone. Dragon body and close combat

Dragon rebirth gives Ericia the baseline physical resilience and sensitivity to magic associated with Dragon’s Nest’s higher existences. In a later spar, she identifies whether her opponent is using magic at a glance and stops a spear made by IlHan without suffering a wound. She also incorporates movements learned from him into her close combat, using hands and claws rather than relying entirely on spells. (Chapters 321, 367)

Her defense in that scene is amplified by moonlight, so it cannot be attributed wholly to the dragon body. The two systems reinforce one another: dragon physiology supplies the durable higher-existence vessel, while the Goddess of the Moon authority makes that vessel exceptionally difficult to defeat in its favored environment.
