Sik Sik

Sik Sik is the fairy bound to the Dungeon Core of the Chinese dungeon formerly ruled by Saman. Rather than return to nature after Saman's defeat, she accepts Randalph Brigsiel's offer of an equal chance to become Fairy King. She later detects Okullos's invasion, calls Yihi for help, and survives when Randalph arrives before the attackers reach her core. (Chapters 94–122)

Biography

A second contract and a threatened core

Sik Sik initially demands that Randalph destroy her core because she refuses to serve another master after Saman, whom the text says abused her. Randalph's fairy blessing and promise that performance—not favoritism—will decide the next Fairy King give her a reason to reconsider, especially because Saman offered no such future. She signs a new contract and remains in charge of the Chinese dungeon. When more than two thousand intermediate and fifty advanced creatures invade, she moves defenders outside and sends an urgent appeal through Yihi. Her pride collapses into fear because the dual contract means a broken core would erase her soul rather than merely return her to nature, but the warning brings Randalph through the inter-core circle in time to save the dungeon. Appearance and personality

Sik Sik is a small female fairy who hovers above her Dungeon Core; the corpus does not specify her hair, wings, clothing, or coloring. Her face reddens when angry, embarrassed, or afraid. She presents herself as loud, combative, and proud, repeatedly using her own name in speech, but the invasion reveals that she is timid and uses anger to conceal fear. Dungeon fairy authority

As the contracted fairy of a dungeon, Sik Sik monitors the core's holographic map, directs its creatures, and can move defenders outside to meet an invasion. She communicates an urgent request to Yihi, enabling Randalph to react from the auction, but the exact range and mechanism of that message are not explained. She is not shown fighting personally, and no combat statistic or named skill is provided. (Chapters 101 and 120–121)

Core bond and extinction risk

Ordinarily, a severely injured fairy returns to nature and may reconstruct over billions of years, although the same ego is not guaranteed. Sik Sik's dual contract creates a harsher condition: if her Dungeon Core breaks, she vanishes completely without even a soul fragment. This dependency gives her a powerful reason to defend the dungeon and seek help, but the corpus does not explain how the dual contract was formed or whether it can be safely dissolved.
