Guyo

Guyo is the fairy attached to the Japanese Dungeon Core. Initially contracted to Adol Luph, he survives Adol's death by accepting Randalph Brigsiel as his second and final demon master. Under Randalph, Guyo links the Japanese and Korean dungeons, administers the Japanese site, and develops its treasure-hiding maze. He is last mentioned as still attached to that dungeon.

Biography

Warning ignored and a new contract

Guyo's habitual mischief and lies have destroyed Adol's trust by the time a real invasion begins. He repeatedly warns that Randalph's force is climbing the dungeon, but Adol ignores him, then blames him once a crystal ball confirms the danger. After Randalph kills Adol, Guyo must either disappear with the core or use the limited chance fairies have to accept another demon. Remembering Randalph's victory and sensing a fairy's blessing on him, Guyo judges that he may truly become the devil and agrees to a new contract after securing a promise against mistreatment. (Chapters 48–54)

The new relationship gives Guyo both work and autonomy. He helps Randalph claim the Japanese dungeon, supervises its remaining creatures, and creates a direct link to the Korean dungeon through the core. Left largely alone in Japan, he uses delegated points sparingly and designs a first-floor maze to conceal treasures and traps. Randalph consequently authorizes expansion through the fifth floor and lets Guyo choose the details. Guyo welcomes these productive responsibilities, and the final reference to him indicates that he remains the Japanese fairy even though inter-dungeon movement is possible. Appearance and personality

Guyo is a winged fairy with a spiritual body. He flies by flapping his wings, and the powder they scatter can form glowing letters during a contract ceremony. His eyes are described as widening like lanterns when he recognizes Randalph's fairy blessing, but the corpus gives no stable description of his clothing, coloring, or exact size. (Chapters 48–54)

Under Adol, Guyo is mischievous, conniving, and full of lies, but he is also frightened and genuinely desperate when the ignored warning becomes real. Under Randalph he remains expressive and somewhat anxious, yet proves cautious with points, eager for useful work, and more productive than playful. His request not to be mistreated reflects the lasting effects of Adol's abuse and helps explain his rapid loyalty once Randalph grants responsibility. (Chapters 48–54, 81–83, and 90–93)

Dungeon Core administration

Guyo is closely linked to his dungeon's core and can report on invaders, manage dungeon functions, spend points with permission, and supervise creatures under the Dungeon Master's command. His information is valuable enough that Adol buys a modified crystal ball only because he no longer trusts it; the limitation is credibility and delegated authority, not an established inability to perceive the dungeon. Dungeon links and maze construction

Working at the core, Guyo creates a link between dungeons that Randalph has identified as his own, allowing direct travel between Japan and South Korea. He also constructs and expands maze floors with walls, branching paths, treasure, and traps. These are administrative uses of the dungeon and its points rather than free-standing powers Guyo is shown using outside a core. (Chapters 55–56, 81–83, and 90–93)

Fairy contract

Guyo can transfer his allegiance after a master's death by performing a formal contract, but the corpus states that the soul energy involved leaves no third chance. He forms the ceremony with wing powder and requires Randalph to affirm both his name and his intention to become the devil. (Chapters 48–54)
