Third Mother Guan

Third Mother Guan is a young but notorious Guan Clan expert who helps investigate Guan Shanying's death and later joins five other Bloodline Nobility Clan representatives in an attempt to seize Shi Kaihuang's bloodline-free cultivation method. Her seductive manner, poison-coated claws, and reputation for dead husbands earn her an ominous public image.

Biography

Investigation and planted evidence

Third Mother Guan corners Jin Ling'er while investigating Guan Shanying's death. Dressed in mourning colors and using threats disguised as flirtation, she extracts Jin's account and later emerges with evidence meant to implicate Su Chen. She presents the medicine and testimony to the assembled clans, unaware that Su has deliberately planted a false trail designed to turn the investigators against the Stonesoul Medicine's apparent source. (Chapters 239–241)

Theft of the cultivation method

She joins five clan experts, all at the Yang Opening Realm or higher, in stealing the completed first layer of Kaihuang's Heaven. The conspirators agree to monopolize and rename the method, then fight Uncle Eleven when he arrives. Third Mother Guan is battered, suffers broken ribs and a damaged hand, and loses an eye. Realizing that Su manipulated the factions into conflict, she tries to kill him and claws at Zhu Xianyao, but Uncle Eleven intercepts her and splits her head with a palm strike. Su later studies the Origin Substance taken from her remains while deriving movement principles related to the Guan bloodline. (Chapters 246–248 and 264)

Appearance and personality

Although addressed as “Third Mother,” she is described as younger than twenty-six. She wears black clothing and a white flower in her hair, and has long red fingernails coated with flesh-corroding poison. Her three husbands are said to have died, contributing to her public reputation as a “Black Widow.” (Chapter 239)

She is seductive, theatrical, cruel, and intensely conscious of her beauty. She enjoys frightening informants and claims to kill only men while readily arranging for others to harm a woman. After Uncle Eleven disfigures her, fury overwhelms caution and drives her final attack. (Chapters 239 and 248)

Abilities and cultivation

Third Mother Guan is among six intruders explicitly described as Yang Opening experts or stronger. Her long nails carry a lethal poison that corrodes flesh, and she uses claw attacks in close combat. The corpus does not name a particular cultivation realm beyond the group's threshold or show her winning against a peer. (Chapters 239, 246, and 248)

Her Guan Clan Origin Substance contributes to Su Chen's later derivation of Soaring Eagle Weightlessness. That research indicates bloodline principles associated with aerial movement, but the corpus does not directly show Third Mother Guan flying, so it does not establish her personal mastery of that ability. (Chapter 264)
