Biography

A manufactured feud at Origin Light Castle

Holly Keen is sent to Origin Light Castle while his clan quietly liquidates businesses before the city’s expected destruction. Aware that he is being used as cover, he behaves disruptively and extorts a puppet from Su Chen’s disguised group. Su Chen steals it back and frames Li Daohong’s people, turning Holly Keen’s injured pride into an open fight. Holly Keen refuses a face-saving draw, deploys his own puppet army, and follows the trade groups toward Sky City to pursue both Li Daohong and the servant he blames for the humiliation. (Chapters 811–814)

Su Chen later lures Holly Keen to the Spirit Totem conflict with news of Li Daohong’s presence. Holly Keen brings stronger experts and numerous puppets, initially focuses on his private grudge, and uses a sealing puppet to block rivals from entering the treasure palace. Once Su Chen’s identity becomes known, however, Holly Keen accepts Night God Sun’s appeal to racial loyalty and joins the alliance against him. Boundless Sect reinforcements overwhelm the group; after Su Chen orders that only Inigo be spared, Holly Keen and the remaining opponents are killed. (Chapters 849–859)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no detailed physical description of Holly Keen. He is identifiable socially as a true noble, the Holly patriarch’s only son, and a top-twenty member of his tribe. (Chapter 811)

Holly Keen is overbearing, impulsive, proud, and unwilling to accept even a tactful compromise that implies defeat. He is not unintelligent: he recognizes when others want him to test Su Chen first, understands Night God Sun’s hidden strength, and deliberately exploits his role as family cover. His engineering talent is real, but wounded pride repeatedly overrides prudence and draws him into escalating conflicts. (Chapters 811–814, 849, and 855)

Abilities and cultivation

Holly Keen is weaker in direct combat than Li Daohong and relies on subordinates and puppets; the corpus does not state his Arcana ring. His specialty is designing and constructing many kinds of Origin puppet. He carries a large collection of his own work, including a roughly 120-foot Giant Demon with battalion-tier power and a puppet able to create a thunder seal that locks space. (Chapters 813 and 853)

His machines have specialized strengths and explicit limits. Giant Demon’s strongest attacks consume enormous Origin Energy and need long recovery, preventing it from sustaining garrison-tier output. The thunder seal stops ordinary movement and resists Inigo’s direct pressure, but Su Chen, Inigo, and Night God Sun each bypass it through different advanced means; Holly Keen must deactivate it to enter himself.
