Gu Feihong

Gu Feihong is the youngest son of Gu Mingwei and an early pursuer of Gu Qingluo. His attempt to use clan power and Empty Mountain's imperial instruments against Su Chen ends in disgrace and imprisonment, but he later returns as an Ultimate Emperor participating in humanity's highest-level wars.

Biography

Possession, ambush, and disgrace

Gu Feihong treats Gu Qingluo's isolation within the clan as an opportunity to control her, ordering Su Chen removed and boasting that his status and Fourth Grandmother's protection will shield him. He privately commissions Crown Prince Chu Jiangyu to misuse the Swan-Catching Mirror, then leads two Spirit Burning and five Light Shaking cultivators to capture his rival. Su Chen's control of the Capricorn curse turns the Gu bloodline against the attackers; Gu Feihong survives only because an inherited protective secret transforms his escape into a streak of light. The failed ambush has consequences beyond personal defeat. Chu Jiangyu exposes the private commission and uses the surveillance event to reveal hidden Gu Clan Lifesource Candle production, costing the clan stored resources and a larger future quota. Gu Xinrong responds by sentencing Gu Feihong to ten years in the Gu Clan prison. His privilege therefore preserves his life but not his position, and the narrative leaves his early romantic obsession as the cause of a major political loss for his family. (Chapters 752–755)

Return at the human peak

Much later, Gu Feihong reappears with Sovereign-level combat power and is identified among the Ultimate Emperors. He joins senior Gu cultivators in intercepting three Sovereign-class attackers and is later among the first human experts to pass through the fissure into Kun territory. The corpus does not narrate his release, breakthrough, or any inner reform, so his immense progression should not be treated as evidence that his earlier character changed; it establishes only that he regained standing and fought for the broader human cause. Appearance and personality

In his early appearances Gu Feihong is entitled, obsessive, cruel, and confident that family power will erase consequences. He treats Gu Qingluo as someone to be possessed and subordinates as expendable tools against Su Chen. His later willingness to confront Sovereign-level enemies shows service to the human war effort, but the long gap contains no explicit repentance or explanation of how his values developed. Gu Feihong first appears at the Light Shaking Realm with the Gu Clan's Shining Dragon Origin Beast bloodline. After a long off-page progression, he is an Ultimate Emperor capable of participating in Sovereign-level combat. Shining Dragon bloodline

At Light Shaking, Gu Feihong can fully activate the clan bloodline, but his expression is weaker than that of Spirit Burning cultivators carrying the same inheritance. The Capricorn curse can seize or suppress this bloodline, allowing Su Chen to destroy the ambush force despite its realm advantage.
