Chu Yuan

Chu Yuan is the fifth-generation ruler of Empty Mountain and father of Crown Prince Chu Jiangyu. An Ultimate Emperor descended from the White Fang bloodline, he preserves imperial authority over the Gu Clan through inherited curses, then joins the human rulers confronting the rise of the Boundless Sect and the return of Desolate Beasts.

Biography

The Gu Clan confrontation

Chu Yuan learns from Chu Jiangyu that Gu Feihong's private use of imperial surveillance has exposed concealed Lifesource Candle production. When Gu Xinrong arrives in anger, Chu Yuan meets her overwhelming aura from within the palace and neutralizes its pressure while addressing her cordially as Fourth Aunt. Although her Origin Beast bloodline is stronger than his, the three inherited curses give the Chu line a structural advantage over the Gu Clan. He uses the discovery to demand their candle reserves and a larger future quota rather than reducing the dispute to a personal clash. (Chapters 752–755)

The greater danger is Su Chen, who has acquired control of the Capricorn curse and might weaken Empty Mountain's old system of restraint. Chu Yuan orders a test, then negotiates after Su Chen proves that the control is real. He later resists allowing Gu Qingluo to leave with Su Chen, but formal edicts and the benefits Su Chen offers persuade him to release the restriction under negotiated conditions. Human war councils

Chu Yuan remains among the peak human rulers as the Boundless Sect reshapes the Seven Kingdoms. At a later war council he tests a Titan statue with one finger and receives an immediate counter, then joins other Ultimate Emperors against a giant falcon during the Desolate Beast crisis. He questions a defensive order because waiting could cost humanity its chance to reach Sky City, but accepts the strategic concern behind it. Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no reliable physical description of Chu Yuan. His imperial presence is associated with dazzling light that answers Gu Xinrong's sky-darkening aura, but this is a cultivation manifestation rather than evidence of ordinary facial features, dress, age, height, or build. (Chapter 752)

Chu Yuan is controlled, politically cautious, and protective of the institutions that sustain Empty Mountain. He can answer an existential challenge with force, yet generally prefers leverage, quotas, conditions, and public authority to uncontrolled violence. Abilities and cultivation

Chu Yuan is an Ultimate Emperor Realm cultivator carrying the White Fang Desolate Beast bloodline inherited through Empty Mountain's ruling house. His exact personal techniques and complete combat style are not described, but he can oppose another Ultimate Emperor's aura and participate against Desolate Beast-class enemies. White Fang bloodline and emperor cultivation

The Chu rulers descend from Chu Yuankong and his White Fang bloodline. At Ultimate Emperor, Chu Yuan can project enough power from the palace to cancel Gu Xinrong's pressure over the capital, showing control on a wide environmental scale.
