Biography
An apprentice who chooses survival
Doze enters the tower as an eager new apprentice who introduces himself and Rocky to Saul, but he quickly follows the safer social current around Keli. Years later he refuses a dangerous sea journey, remains a Second-Level Apprentice, and earns crystals transporting authorized refugees into Caugust. Meeting the advanced Keli briefly revives his ambition, yet the Inverted Tree eruption forces him to abandon his newly purchased books and run, leaving his ultimate fate unconfirmed. Appearance and personality
Doze is introduced as a wide-eyed boy. Sociable but cautious to the point of timidity, he wants advancement and approval yet repeatedly chooses manageable danger over heroic risk.
Abilities
He reaches Second-Level Apprentice and can perform ordinary apprentice magic, travel independently, and manage commercial transport work.
