Biography
Refusal to conceal the tail experiment
Delen served Maria at the Sighing Wall and learned that Benjamin's gray-tail experiments had crossed into murder and uncontrolled transformation. He refused Benjamin's demand that he become disposable flesh or remain silent, and Saul's intervention saved him from an immediate killing. Delen then joined Maria's hunt for Robin, remaining loyal despite the danger. During the pursuit, Robin swept him into the sea and consumed him, making the witness another casualty of the experiment he had tried to expose. (Chapters 930–935)
Appearance and personality
Delen's physical features are not emphasized. He is defined by loyalty to Maria, moral resistance to Benjamin's cover-up, and the courage to accompany the pursuit even after narrowly escaping death.
