Jadechild

Jadechild is Snowdragon Mountain's greatest Zifu-level combatant and the principal reinforcement sent against the Ji clan. His divine ability and Fiendgod body make him Ji Ning's most dangerous opponent during the Oxhorn Mountain siege.

Biography

Answering the Swallow Mountain branch

Muse reaches Landwyrm Mountain and reports the Ji clan's formation, casualties, and elemental ore mine. Jadechild recognizes that the matter now involves Snowdragon Mountain's prestige and agrees to intervene. He gathers fellow disciples and travels to Oxhorn Mountain, where his reputation restores the attackers' confidence: the branch believes he is the one Zifu Disciple capable of exterminating the clan. Duel inside the Netherwyrm formation

Within the Ji clan's grand formation, Jadechild protects formation expert Nong Zidao and takes responsibility for meeting Ning directly. He initially matches and wounds Ning through a powerful Fiendgod body and divine ability. Ning uses the formation's strength, the Starseizing Hand, and repeated tactical changes to turn the battle. Jadechild refuses recruitment or retreat, and Ning kills him, removing the attackers' strongest close-combat pillar. (Chapters 111–119)

Consequences

Jadechild's death shocks Snowdragon Mountain and changes the political meaning of the siege. A sixteen-year-old from a local clan has defeated the sect's premier Zifu warrior, making simple retaliation far more dangerous and enhancing Ning's reputation throughout Stillwater Commandery. Appearance and personality

Jadechild is a young man whose composed bearing inspires confidence in weaker disciples. He is proud of Snowdragon Mountain and willing to shoulder its battlefield risk personally. His confidence is not empty—he genuinely pressures Ning—but he cannot adjust enough when the Ji clan's formation amplifies Ning beyond their expected level. (Chapters 104–119)

Fiendgod body refinement

Jadechild is a peak Zifu-level Fiendgod Body Refiner with greater durability, strength, and recovery than ordinary ki refiners. This lets him fight Ning directly rather than remain behind formations. His body is still vulnerable to attacks amplified by the Netherwyrm Heavenlock Formation and Starseizing Hand. (Chapters 111–119)

Divine ability and close combat

He uses a divine ability to increase his combat power and is treated as the only regional Snowdragon disciple capable of killing Ning. The text demonstrates the resulting strength through their sustained duel but does not provide a stable translated name or full activation mechanics, so none should be invented. Formation protection

Jadechild coordinates a six-person defense around Zidao and later serves as the combat anchor for the attackers.
