Biography

Discovery and the Dark Guild

Kelly discovers an unusually intelligent black cat in a room marked by a spent magic circle. A notebook supplies the name Sophie, while an Alterian magical book explains enough for Kelly to understand that the cat is not an ordinary animal. Sophie communicates through gestures, meows, and magically controlled writing, then joins Kelly and Harvey as a discreet scout for the emerging Dark Guild. (Chapters 491, 785–797)

Choosing Kelly’s resistance

Sophie continues working with the Dark Guild as her spellcasting improves, but when Harvey orders mass killing she chooses Kelly and Londo’s defection. She protects departing members with Dark Pulses and shields, helps defend civilians and fight Harvey’s giant puppet, and later joins Raze’s campaign against the Noble Guild. After victory, Kelly identifies finding a permanent cure for Sophie’s feline state as her next major goal. (Chapters 1588–1769)

Appearance and personality

Sophie’s current body is a small black cat; the supplied chapters do not recover a reliable description of her original human appearance. She is intelligent, expressive, stealthy, and capable of moral self-reproach, but ultimately chooses to protect civilians and stand with Kelly.

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Sophie retains human intelligence and spell knowledge in feline form. She can use telekinetic magic to write, cast Dark Pulses and defensive dark rings, and participate with Kelly and Londo in four-element combination magic. Her cat body gives an excellent disguise and agile scouting profile but also a small mana core, limiting how many high-level spells she can cast. Relationships
