Lilly

Lilly is a spear-wielding member of the Crimson Crane and Kizer's sister. She fights in the group's dimension expeditions, faction conflicts, and wars in both Pagna and Alterian, eventually commanding other spear users during Flendon's defense. The corpus also uses the spelling “Lily” in adjacent Crimson Crane scenes—and even changes spelling during Chapter 1139—but the approved census treats Lily separately; this article therefore limits itself to evidence printed as Lilly and does not assert that the two names are the same person.

Biography

Crimson Crane expeditions

Lilly first appears among the eight middle-stage warriors of the Crimson Crane. She banters with the group's alchemist, Reno, but also works quickly when the mission changes: after the group finds evidence of the Dark Magus, she and Cronker break the chains holding the dimension's captives. Later, she exits another dimension with Tilon and Elvlin only to be ambushed by Behemoth fighters, placing her in the cycle of dangerous expeditions through which the Crane builds its reputation and resources. (Chapters 200–212 and 285–295)

Raze's identity and the faction conflict

When Raze identifies himself as the Dark Magus, Lilly struggles to reconcile the feared name with the academy student before her. She nevertheless remains within Alba's group as the conflict spreads through the academy and rival fighters begin fleeing at the Dark Magus's reputation. Her continued participation shows practical acceptance of Alba's alliance, though the Lilly-spelled passages do not provide a private declaration of trust or resolve every concern she may have held. (Chapters 408–443)

Behemoth war and Flendon's defense

During the faction tournament, Lilly fights Suzan beside Kizer and Reno while lacking a Dark-Magus-made weapon of her own. Reno's poison creates an opening, and Lilly drives her ordinary spear through Suzan's chest, helping defeat a stronger opponent before collapsing from her own injuries. She later takes command of Flendon's spear-bearing defenders against the Behemoth army. These scenes develop her from a squad combatant into a battlefield leader able to organize less experienced fighters around the weapon she understands best. (Chapters 695 and 855)

Wars in Pagna and Alterian

Lilly continues with the Crimson Crane through the coalition wars. She reaches Alba and Tilon during the Deleter confrontation, helps pursue Kush, and strikes Tilon's shield with her spear to charge it for a tower-destroying throw. In Alterian, she channels Qi through the spear and fires a beam powerful enough to destroy a hovering ship. After the Grand Magi fall, she remains alive and questions the assumption that Raze will stay in the world whose memories he hates, her latest direct scene in the supplied corpus. (Chapters 1139–1214, 1722, and 1767)

Appearance and personality

Lilly is described with long, dark-brown hair, a straight posture, and a strong presence. She can be playful with Reno and cutting toward Kizer, yet she is also direct under pressure and willing to take charge. Her skepticism about both Raze's identity and his future is expressed openly rather than hidden behind Alba's authority, while her repeated presence in Crane battles demonstrates durable loyalty to the group. (Chapters 200, 408, 1158, and 1767)

The Lilly/Lily spelling cannot support a confident shared appearance. Chapter 1139 introduces “Lilly” beside Alba and then calls the spear user “Lily” later in the same uninterrupted fight. Because the text supplies no in-story explanation and the approved census separates them, traits established only in Lily-spelled passages are not transferred here. (Chapter 1139)

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Lilly is already a middle-stage Pagna warrior when introduced and specializes in the spear. She channels Qi through thrusts, uses the weapon in coordinated attacks, and can impale a tough enemy once allies create an opening. By the Flendon battle she has enough practical authority to lead other spear users. The corpus does not give her cultivation technique a name, establish her exact later stage, or show an independent magical affinity. (Chapters 200, 695, and 855)

Her later spear can transmit energy into Tilon's shield and emit a long-range beam capable of tearing apart an Alterian ship. Those effects are demonstrated through the weapon while Lilly channels Qi; the Lilly-spelled passages do not name or rank that spear, explain its acquisition, or specify a curse. The solar mechanics and curse explicitly attributed to Lily's Sunspear therefore are not assumed to belong to Lilly under the census's separate treatment. (Chapters 1214 and 1722)

Relationships

  • Kizer: Kizer is explicitly identified as Lilly's brother. They fight together against Suzan and continue serving in the same Crimson Crane unit.
  • Alba: Lilly follows Alba's leadership through the academy crisis and later reinforces her during the Deleter battle.
  • Reno: Their first exchange is familiar and teasing. In combat, Reno's poison helps create the opening Lilly uses to impale Suzan.
  • Tilon: Lilly repeatedly fights beside the shield bearer and can feed her spear's energy into his shield for a combined attack.
  • Raze Cromwell: Lilly is initially shocked by Raze's identity, later fights in his coalition, and understands that his victory in Alterian does not erase his hatred of that world.
  • Lily: The corpus's spelling overlaps in ways that suggest a continuity problem, but it never explains their relationship. This wiki preserves the supplied census's distinction rather than silently merging them.

Items

  • Spears: Lilly uses an ordinary spear against Suzan and later wields a spear capable of transferring or firing energy. The corpus passages printed with her spelling do not establish whether these are the same weapon, name the later spear, or describe its full mechanics and custody history. (Chapters 695, 1214, and 1722)
